This assignment is due at the end of week 5. Business Continuity Planning is another tool used to measure and understand an organization’s supply chain risk. Review the Business Continuity Planning Assessment Questionnaire in Appendix A of the Kildow text. Consider your organization’s business continuity plan, if any, and evaluate the organization using the Kildow template in Appendix A. You may choose an organization other than the one where you are working or have worked. You may average the scores obtained from the categories to provide a 500-word overview on your assessment. If your organization is not conducive to a business continuity assessment, you may select any organization which you are either familiar with or can conduct research.

Analyzing and Resolving Resource Conflict with Executive Management

This assignment is designed to evaluate your ability to anticipate and resolve a resource constraint. You will learn how to use emotional intelligence (EI) and conflict resolution skills when working with stakeholders that can have a positive or negative influence on the project.

Managing project resources is a difficult task. Please note that resources include team members, capital, supplies, equipment, services, technology, and facilities. For the project to be successful, the resources must be available when needed. The project manager must work closely with functional managers (i.e., departmental managers) to ensure the right resources are assigned to the project, especially people. Given that resources can be scarce, conflict often arises regarding the use of resources.

For this assignment, please prepare a PowerPoint® Presentation the notes area where you describe the following items from the standpoint of the project manager:

How can you use emotional intelligence (EI) to help you have an effective relationship with functional managers regarding the use of resources?
When working with executive-level stakeholders, project managers must be skilled at conflict resolution and the types of powers they can leverage. From your experience and research, discuss the conflict resolution skills and powers that are most effective in this situation?
Describe a model of problem solving you might use to get buy-in from stakeholders.

Business Studies

Answer all questions based on your knowledge of the Model Business Corporations Act (MBCA), the Delaware General Corporation Law (DGCL), Uniform Partnership Act (1997), and general principles of the common law of business associations. You may use case names if you like to support your arguments, but case names are not required. Assume that you are in the newly formed State of Osage, created from parts of Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas, in the United States and that cases in your casebook are of persuasive, but not binding, authority. You should assume that the State of Osage has adopted the MBCA, but since the state’s case law is not yet well-developed, the courts have looked to both MBCA states and Delaware opinions, especially opinions based in DE’s common law of business associations.

How does solitary confinement affect the physical and mental health of individuals who are currently

INSTRUCTIONS: This is not a literature review, it’s an annotated bibliography. You need to synthesize these articles into a cohesive paper:- You need to organize the articles into an order that makes sense. For example, you might start with articles that provide background information or define terms. Then you might group together articles that agree with each other. You might start with an article that says one thing, then follow with an article that possibly expands on what the first article said or even contradicts it.- The articles then need to be connected by linking sentences, which helps the reader transition from one article to the next.- You also need to have an introduction at the beginning which gives a brief introduction to the topic, and a conclusion at the end which wraps your summary of the articles up.Please revise and re-submit.Comments from CustomerPREVIOUS PAPER INSTRUCTIONS (#452921432): Research Question: How does solitary confinement affect the physical and mental health of individuals who are currently incarcerated?Your literature review should include 10-12 references, of which 8 must be research articles from peer-reviewed scholarly journals only. It should be 6-8 pages, double-spaced. Use the default margins and font for whichever word processing program you are using.Do not save your document as a PDF – I want it in the format of the word processing program you’re using (FileName.docx, FileName.pages, etc.). The reason for this is I will be posting feedback to the file itself and it’s easier for me to do that if I don’t have to first convert it from PDF. (NOTE: If you’re having formatting problems with the interaction between whichever word processing software/platform you’re using and Blackboard and want to upload it as a PDF to preserve your desired formatting, however, that’s fine because I CAN convert if necessary.)You can use the below template to organize your notes for each article but remember, the literature review itself is a synthesis of the articles, not a collection of independent summaries. Fill out the template for each article and then organize them – put articles that agree together or articles that disagree together, put an article that builds on or extends the findings of another behind it in the order, connect the discussions of each article with linking sentences, etc. Ultimately the literature review should flow from one article to the next. Also, this is VERY IMPORTANT : a literature review is NOT the same thing as an annotated bibliography (although you can use that as a starting point for your literature review). I do not want to see any document that is a list of article citations and summaries.

1. Plaintiff, John Smith of 111 East 32 St, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11342 purchased a diamond ring for his girlfriend from Diamonds RUS (Diamonds), 321 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 11765. Diamonds employs Susie Slick as its saleswoman. Diamonds sells cubic zirconia, glass, crystal and real diamonds. John told Susie he didn’t want to spend a lot of money, he wasn’t sure that his girlfriend was the “right one” for him. Susie said she was an expert and showed him all the different rings with real and imitation diamond. John picked out a ring for $3,000.00. Susie told him it was a beautiful diamond.

John gave the ring to his girlfriend who quickly took it to a jeweler only to find out it was glass. She returned the ring to John and told him she never wanted to see him again. John wants to sue Diamonds RUS. Plaintiff hires Barbara Hatkin, 38 Old Slip, New York, NY 10005. Use the New York State Complaint form. The lawsuit action is for fraud.

You are writing a complaint. It must be in the correct form.

After you have read the fact pattern several times, you must take the time to

1. Identify who is the plaintiff, who is the defendant

2. What legal cause of action does the plaintiff have against the defendant

3. What are the elements of the cause of action (please research on Westlaw – Google may not give you accurate information)

4. Match your facts to each element of the cause of action

5. Review the complaint forms in Westlaw so that you include all the necessary information

How to access the forms on Westlaw:

Sign onto Westlaw

Click on “New York Form Finder” under the heading “Forms”
Scroll to the bottom on the right, click on “West’s McKinney’s Forms”
Click on the plus sign for the first topic “Civil Practice Law and Rules”
Click on the plus sign for “Pleadings”
Click on the plus sign for “Complaint”

Research Proposal on stopping cell aging

This assignment is about editing the Research Proposal, I have attached how the professor is going t grade it and the annotated bibliography.

Here’s what you are going to edit:

add the title, abstract, and keywords.

Expand the introduction, it’s only three review paragraphs, add three more paragraphs.
Remove significance and background subsections titles.
The first paragraph has no citations, so please add some in-text citations, 2nd paragraph has only 1 citation, also add more to that one as well. add in-text citations in the third paragraph as it doesn’t contain any.

– Although you use the word hypothesis, there is not one. You don’t test “a number of different methods.” You need to be very explicit.

– Reduce extraneous wording and even un-needed sentences such as “The research will employ an experimental research method.” Instead, just state the design.

– Half the method are redundant. Need much more detail on experimental protocols.

No need for expected results. Condense schedule, it is taking up too much space.

– on the reference section add more citations from the annotated bibliography and please make sure it’s peer-reviewed.
