Summary:
What is the subject (premise) of the article, and what are the questions and/or
hypotheses being investigated by the author? What conclusions does the author
reach about the cultural beliefs/values being addressed in the article?
Data and Methods: What “data” did the author collect, and what methods did they use to get it?
Were these data and methods sufficient to provide a factual/realistic portrayal
of these people and their culture? Why or why not? You need to support your
answer with specific details from the article.
Cultural Relativism: Did the author take a culturally relativistic approach to their research? Make an

6. Who do these findings tell us about? Who is missing? (4 points)
▪ Consider the population of adolescents these authors are interested in explaining something about. Is it all adolescents? A certain age group? All genders? Ethnicities? Family types? Etc.?
▪ Then consider the characteristics of the actual participants in this study (see your answer to question #2).

Write a research Essay on Reagan’s relationship with Soviet leadership on Star Wars,For this option, you will investigate and analyze the topic of President Reagan, Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), and how it won the Cold War. Writing is not easy; it requires thinking, reading, lots of drafts, and time. To help, know that there are multiple steps to writing a strong paper; it is very difficult to write an A+ paper in two hours.
First, you will think about the main topic – President Reagan, SDI, and the end of the Cold War.
Second, you must think about how you will narrow your argument further so that you can write a strong argumentative essay. This could be a particular event, process or person. You may wish to focus on
