How effective was the designated quality tool or technique in achieving the project’s quality objective?

Quality is often described as the fourth triple-constraint (cost, schedule, and scope). Address this project quality topic by discussing the following key elements:
First, in your own words, with appropriate reference citation support, define the construct of quality and distinguish quality in the context of project management.
Relating to your definition of quality, describe a work-related or personal project that relied on one of the common quality tools or techniques featured in the module lecture, readings, or the PMBOK® Guide as its compelling rationale.
Identify what quality tools or techniques were applied in your project scenario.
How effective was the designated quality tool or technique in achieving the project’s quality objective?
In hindsight, would an alternative quality tool or technique have been better suited for achieving the project’s quality objective?
If so, which quality tool or technique and explain why.
If not, explain why not.

Plato’s Dialogue Lysis

please use of the following academic article and use it as a secondary source to explain some aspect of Plato’s dialogue Lysis that you found interesting:

Keep this in mind, the primary source is the source you are seeking to explain, the one that is receives the greater attention and emphasis in your writing. The secondary sources are those insights gained from other sources about the same topic which will help you explain the meaning of the primary source and how it should be understood. The secondary sources help you to support the arguments you are making as you explain, interpret and comment on the primary source. Be sure that you utilize the Chicago Manual of Style to give citations for your references to the primary and secondary sources in your footnotes/endnotes.

Clinical Prevention Intervention:
Clinical preventive intervention is key to lowering disability and death and improving the health of a nation. These interventions detect and prevent diseases and illnesses, medical care expenses, early death, and disability. The chosen intervention is routine disease screening. Screening involves applying clinical tests or procedures to individuals with no symptoms yet for a certain illness to find out their possibility of having the disease. Individuals who regularly visit the doctor undergo routine screening. They are highly probable to be diagnosed early if they develop any medical condition, thus contributing to better results and a longer lifespan. Routine disease screening further enables the doctors to contrast the test outcomes over time, raising the chances for a possible problem to be prevented through interventions such as lifestyle changes and medications (Johns Hopkins, 2022).
For the majority of adults, depending upon the age of a person, the physicians recommend a screening schedule inclusive of regular physical assessments, immunizations, eye assessments, pressure of blood and cholesterol screening, Body Mass Index, skin checks, and sexually transmitted illness screening. The kind of routine disease screening that a person might require changes as the person ages and depends on his or her family and personal medical history and whether the person is at risk for a particular disease (Johns Hopkins, 2022). For instance, many young individuals do not require a regular colonoscopy. However, in case of a family history linked to colon cancer or polyps, the physicians recommend that the test should be performed regularly as part of health care. Family history might also make someone a good candidate for genetic testing to identify if the person has a higher risk of developing a particular illness. Routine screening has not been successful enough because screening tests have not been 100% accurate (NHS, 2021). One can be told he or she has an issue when there is actually no problem, a false positive situation, which might result in some individuals going for unnecessary further treatment and tests due to screening. A screening test may miss the problem; a situation called false negative, which may result in a person ignoring future signs (NHS, 2021).

Correctional Theory

Readings:
Pratt
Chapter 5: Misinformation about Prisons and Crime Control
Chapter 6: The Social Costs and Consequences of Incarceration
Chapter 7: Conclusions and Recommendations

Discuss the following in a 1-2 page report (remember to bring in your own policy interests and professional experiences wherever you can):
The overall theme of chapter 5 is that the deterrent philosophy of crime control does not work. Explain how Pratt supports this argument.
In Chapter 6, Pratt states that incarceration itself can be criminogenic for offenders. How does he support that statement?
Pratt argues that incarceration may actually make entire communities more criminogenic. How does he support that statement?
Pratt argues that incarceration policies have disproportionately impacted the African American community. How does he support that statement?
Pratt provides guidelines for how academics should attempt to influence policy makers. Do you agree with his perspective? Why or why not?

Invasive Species Profile Paper

Invasive species as you have learned are a dominant force of change and disruption and have extensive ecological and economic impacts…. in other words they affect the lives of everyone regardless of where they live. To help you understand why invasive species are such a critical issue in our world today you will select a species that is invasive to US rangelands and write a short (2 – 3 page, double spaced) page paper covering the following:
the life strategies (reproduction, competitive strategies ) of the species
the origins (how did it come to be invasive in the US)
the distribution and rate of spread of the species (probably accompanied by a map)
the ecological and economic impacts of the species
the management of the species (how are its populations reduced or managed?)
This paper will be an expository paper supported by citations. What is that?

The inaccuracy of eyewitness testimony.

Lab Report
Throughout your discussion forum assignment you will have developed a methodology in order to test the hypothesis/research question that you have chosen. The lab report is based on that research question. It’s important that your hypothesis/research question lends itself to being able to complete this report.
Though you will be writing a lab report including pre-determined sections, note that you are not required to test and provide real results. You must demonstrate your ability to perform and understand statistical tests using SPSS.
Note: Your course material has provided you with numerous resources that will be helpful in developing and writing this material. You may also wish to review The Lab Report , a website with clear and comprehensive information.

Part 1: Lab Report Proposal
You are required to submit a lab report proposal (approximately 2 pages, typed, double spaced, or roughly 600-700 words) including your research question, a brief literature review, and a proposed method for the planned research.
Your course instructor will provide feedback that will help you with completing your final Lab Report.

Working in Groups

Group C: The inaccuracy of eyewitness testimony. (You can look at detailed descriptions of crime scenes, videos, and so on to see how well people remember crime details. Or you can test immediately and at different points later.)

All people within one group will design research on that topic, but the research will be very different. For example, members of the “caffeine” group, Group B, can study the effects of caffeine on cognitive tasks such as long division, while others can study the effects of caffeine on mood. Two students could even both study the effects of caffeine on mood, but their studies must take different approaches to this question. When you join the Discussion group for your topic, you should begin sharing ideas and also references on the literature relevant to your planned research. You should discuss material from all the relevant units as well.

Discussion Forum Participation

Throughout the course, you will be asked to contribute to ongoing discussions.
The purpose of your first posting is to help you develop a possible thesis question/research topic and, eventually, identify the design. Subsequent discussions will allow you to develop your question in more detail. Note that your role in these discussions is to not only develop your own hypothetical thesis but also to offer critique and support to classmates. Contributions will (and should) vary in terms of length and topic, but try to keep your posts brief (100-175 words) and to the point. Links and block quotes are welcome, but these should never “stand-alone” – they should always be accompanied by a discussion of contents and an explanation of why they are included. Within the online modules, we will be highlighting key concepts and methods for developing your research question and developing methodologies in order to test these questions. The concepts highlighted in the course will be general and we will use several examples in order to illustrate the process. In your discussions, you will then be applying these new concepts and skills to your research topic.
Evaluation

The discussion posts will be regularly monitored. The course instructor will be asking questions, giving guidance, and possibly helping resolve disputes over ‘best practices.’ The grade for your discussion group participation will be on an individual
basis. The discussion contributions will be evaluated twice – once mid-term and again at the end of the course. Use the provided Study Plan as a guideline for when you should be working through course materials. Your grade for discussion participation will be based on the consistency and relevance of your individual contribution to the discussion.

Here, “consistency” means that contributions are made on a weekly or near-weekly basis, and reflect a timely, ongoing engagement with weekly readings, materials, research, etc.”Relevance” means inclusion of themes and points that have a clear and direct relevance to research methods, their application, as well as associated issues and debates. It also includes discussion of literature, problems, ideas, and examples that pertain directly to your intended research topic/proposal, which includes consideration of the course readings and themes.

The Lab Report

Stops and Frisks

Explain History of stops and frisks.

What are some foundation cases?

What constitutes an individual to be stopped and seized? What actions/characteristics must an officer demonstrate for one to be stopped and seized and for that individual to have reasonable understanding that he or she is stopped and seized (examples to talk about: physical force, use of authority verbal command presence, intent for the stop).

When is a person a person free to leave (talk about voluntary encounters) and is not considered “stopped”?

When can an officer stop someone (talk about reasonable suspicion and behavioral cues of an individual, criminal history of an individual, high crime area)?
Elaborate on stopping someone when it comes to anonymous and reliable informants.

Stops and seizures during traffic stops

What is a frisk compared to a search? Compared to person or car.
What is the scope of a frisk on a person and car?

Talk about a “Michigan v Long” case (protective search of the immediate area within reach of a person being frisked)

Think of a specific, actual team you have experienced or are with currently, e.g. HM 430, Panera Bread job, internship. What resonated with you when you read this chapter?

Which one of the following phrasing makes more sense to you? This is the same assignment using different ways to communicate with you.
A sample of this assignment is available Download A sample of this assignment is available. (attachment)
Option A
This assignment has two components:
1. Think of a specific, actual team you have experienced or are with currently, e.g. HM 430, Panera Bread job, internship. What resonated with you when you read this chapter? As a manager or co-worker, how would you share/teach a message about this with your work team? Use a professional approach to write a script that shares/teaches this information, include practical, specific ways to use this idea when working together as a team. Use 250 words to communicate your message to your team. Be sure to describe the team and context, e.g. shift leader at Panera, HM 430 theme dinner project group.
2. Write two questions that express your remaining points of confusion from this chapter reading, OR inquire about something that you would like to discuss on a deeper level.
Option B
This assignment has two components:
Based on your reading of this chapter, what is an important message you can share to members of past/present work team? Write a 250 word response of your learning and how it is useful as a script that you would use to share your idea.
Write two questions that express your remaining points of confusion from this chapter reading, or inquire about something that you would like to discuss on a deeper level.
