Discuss your state NP community in terms of scope of practice. Include the your state’s scope of practice for NPs.

Discuss your state NP community in terms of scope of practice. Include the your state’s scope of practice for NPs including:
Level of independence of practice **In
California, NPs are required to practice under Standardized Procedure
Guidelines. If CA is your intended practice state, please provide
details on how Standardized Procedures Guidelines are developed in
California and an example of a California SPG.
Prescribing authority
Any limitations of practice
Process for obtaining licensure in your state
Certification and education requirements for licensure.
If you live in a restricted or reduced practice state, how has patient care been impacted in your local community from these barriers?
For instance, is the ED used for primary care? Are the EDs overcrowded
with long wait times? Are there urgent care clinics readily available?
Is there adequate access to primary care? If you live in a full
practice, how has independent practice of the APN resulted in improved
patient access to healthcare?
How does access to NPs impacts any healthcare disparities?
A scholarly resource must be used for EACH discussion question each week.

Explain the relevance of theory in criminology.

Explain the relevance of theory in criminology. In your
response, provide an explanation of what a theory is and what it does. Note
that the author mentions several theories used to explain criminal behavior. In
your own words, summarize one of the theories mentioned and the implications of
the theory you summarized.

What might Taurek say in reply to Bentham’s claim that morality approves of those actions whose tendency is to augment the happiness of the community? In your view, who, if either, would be right?

What might Taurek say in reply to Bentham’s claim that morality approves of those actions whose tendency is to augment the happiness of the community? In your view, who, if either, would be right? Why? (In your answer, be sure to consider how Bentham understands “the interest of the community.”)
Down below is a file created by my proffesor as a guidline for what he expects in our essays.
The other two files on Bentham and Utilitarianism is given to be the basis of what we are supposed to write our essay about. Practically those two readings are read and then the question above is to be answered in essay format. The first question would be the 1st body paragraph and then the second question as the 2nd body, and then the third paragraphis usually about something to oppose your view point.

Describe if the mean will be greater than the median or that the median will be greater than the mean.

1. Set up a problem scenario where you describe a population, a sample, a parameter and a statistic for either a quantitative or categorical variable. Do not identify which is the population, sample, parameter or a statistic.

2. In this discussion board, you will practice creating a display for quantitative data using technology.
Initial Post Prompt
You need a dataset with quantitative data. You can choose to obtain this in two ways:
– Conduct a small survey (it doesn’t need to be random) where you ask a question that requires a single quantitative response,
OR
– Find a dataset online with quantitative data for a single variable. Searching through the datasets on StatCrunch or Kaggle are good places to start.
You will use the data to create a graph appropriate for seeing the distribution of a quantitative variable. You may use any software, such as Excel or StatCrunch.

3.
– Give an example of distribution of a quantitative variable that should use the median rather than the mean as its measure of center.
– Explain why it is that the median is the best measure of center for this distribution (explain using the outliers for the distribution or the shape of the distribution).
– Describe if the mean will be greater than the median or that the median will be greater than the mean. Explain why this is true.

Florida Red Tides

In the first presentation, you will present an overview of the environmental management topic and resource you propose to manage for the course project. Please include all of the following content:
* Title, speaker (as you wish to be identified by your colleagues), date, venue (e.g., class details)
* Identify the topic (e.g., species reintroduction, establishment of wind energy facility, restoration of habitat, implementation of specific policy [e.g., energy tax credits, fuel standards, plastics regulation, listed species protection, chemical regulation], establishment of urban park, community garden, green infrastructure [e.g., stormwater swales, rain garden], ecotourism business, …)
* Geographic location (cover what is relevant to the selected topic)
* City, state, country; latitude/longitude; satellite map
* Historic background (what was here?)
* Soils
* Vegetation
* Wildlife
* Policy concerns (cover what is relevant to the selected topic)
* References (use APA format)
. Now is not the time to offer management objectives, actions, or strategies. This is meant as an informational session. Be scientific and objective. Leave personal bias out of the presentation. The audience needs to have a solid basis for what exactly it is that will be managed. Avoid writing in the first person. For next week’s discussion, you will need to write the script for a professional scientific audience. Consider who you would present such a presentation to, as it would likely be the opening part of a formal presentation to a diverse group of stakeholders. If there is specific technical language involved, explain it to the audience by defining terms and technology (if applicable). Note that due to the vast array of topics in class, some of the points above may not suit your topic. That is OK, but please review the grading rubric to understand how your presentation will be awarded credit.
