Software Defined Networks and Intent Based Networks – White Paper

**Knowledge of Computer Networks is preferred**
Need to develop a white paper for a company’s CTO to highlight the benefits of combining Software Based Networks (Virtualization) and Intent Based Networks (Automation). When used in combination with virtualization and cloud computing, SDN and IBN could revolutionize how the organization operates, providing for reduced costs, efficiency, better management of the network assets, and security.
Given the CTO has only heard the term in passing, you must describe in this white paper, the SDN and IBN concepts, their benefits, and what it would take for the organization to implement.
Refer to the “Company Highlights” (Attached in instructions) for more details about the company.
In your White Paper, use additional sources of information but also describe the concept in layman’s terms. Use visuals where appropriate. Describe how SDN/IBN architecture would look different than network architectures we have traditionally deployed. Compare and contrast the network architectures and discuss the pros and cons of each.
The paper should include the following sections:
Introduction to software-defined networking (SDN)
Introduction to intent-based networking (IBN)
Discussion on how virtualizing the desktop and now back-end infrastructure are complementary and related
Discussion of how SDN and IBN are related
Please find the attached Instructions, Template and Example to complete this document.

Situational Leadership, Contingency & Path-Goal Theories

Using the Northouse text as well as your own scholarly research, write a minimum of 4 full pages for the following:
What is situational leadership?
Define leadership style. Identify, explain, and give examples of behaviors corresponding with four proposed styles.
Explain the two steps leaders must fulfill to be effective. Apply these steps to a current situation in which you are a follower. What style would be most appropriate for leading you, according to the theory, and why? Do you agree?
What is the Contingency theory?
What does contingency theory contribute to our understanding of leadership that other theories do not?
What is the underlying assumption of Path-Goal theory? How does this pose a challenge for the leader?
In brief, what is a path-goal theory designed to explain?
Identify four leadership styles associated with the path-goal theory. Explain each style and relate it to styles described in other theories. Can leaders exhibit more than one style?

Natural & Technological Hazards

This week we will consider hazards in emergency management and homeland security. There are three academic articles to read and you should use those to address PCA #3 for this week.
As always, keep it to about a page, hit the main points, and keep things as organized and well written as possible

Each of the articles (Adger, Smith and Kasperson) discusses research and ways of identifying, evaluating, planning for, and responding to hazards and risks of hazards. PIck two hazards that interest you — one natural and one technological — I realize that the line between them is sometimes blurry but choose two hazards based on what you consider to be of interest, and according to your own understanding of natural hazards and technology hazards – you won’t be wrong. These could be hazards considered to be “natural” such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc., as well as more “technological” hazards such as global warming, electrical grid failures, cyber vulnerabilities, etc. But again, whatever you choose, you are not going to be wrong about how you classify the hazard.
MUST USE ARTICLES PROVIDED.
For your PCA: (1) define each of your two hazards; (2) discuss the concepts from the reading including what factors make a society “vulnerable” and “suscepitble” to each of your chosen hazards; (3) what factors increase “resilience” to the hazards.
Also, for each of the hazards you choose please consider a fourth point (4) as to how human activities, societies, institutions, economic divisions, etc., may contribute to the impact and resiliency problems of a hazard. For example, poverty, lack of government resources, and poor living conditions are likely to exacerbate the negative impacts of an earthquake in a poor country versus a developed country in specific ways.
A suggestion here is that you break the PCA into two sections:
A. Natural Hazard: Then discuss the 4 points above as applicable to the natural hazard;
B. Technology Hazard: Then discuss the 4 points above as applicable to the technology hazard.

As we talk about the nature vs. nurture debate take a moment to consider whether people who commit heinous acts against the world are born that way or made that way through their environment. Which part do you think influences our behavior more; nature or nurture? Why do you think so?

All of this information was according to Cranston fire officials.

Story #2

Police say it appears to have been a murder-suicide
Three people were shot. They’re all dead
It occurred at 1440 Broadway near 40th
In a temporary office leased by Empire blue cross and blue shield
Anyway, that’s what a company spokeswoman told the Associated Press.

Story #3

Write a brief news story for The Freeport News in Maine. You may choose either a straight news lead or more of a feature lead. But this is not a feature story – it is a news story.
You make a telephone check with the state highway patrol and the dispatcher tells you:
Had a strange one around midnight about 20 miles east of Canton. A 20 year old short-order cook employed by Leek’s Café in Freeport was going home when his car went out of control on a bridge over the tracks of Amtrak. Broke through the guardrail, sailed through the air, hit power lines, and then fell to the tracks, landing upside down.
The guy was unhurt, but it took 15 minutes to get him out of the car. His name is Alan Taylor of Freeport. We booked him for reckless and drunk driving, driving without a license and speeding. A guy following him says he must have hit that bridge at 90. Had a 1986 Chevy that he’d modified.
A witness, who asked not to be named, said it was “kind of miraculous all around. It’s a wonder he wasn’t electrocuted or killed in the fall. If it’d happened a few minutes before, an eastbound train might have hit him and his car.”

with acquiring each company and make a well-informed decision.
In this milestone, you will first analyze the current
situation of TransGlobal Airlines using the given data and other sources to
understand their business environment. You will also evaluate the performance
