Research suggests that for educators to become culturally responsive, they must first develop self-knowledge of their own cultures, attitudes, and beliefs. Use the questions to guide your responses and comments on the posts of at least two peers.
What preconceived ideas, stereotypes, or biases do you hold that would make it difficult for you to strengthen the literacy of your students?
Why is it important that you recognize your own preconceived ideas, stereotypes, or biases?
What steps can you take to alter those ideas, stereotypes, or biases?

Nutrient Analysis Project
1. Students will record all foods and beverages (including serving size) consumed over three consecutive days. Please be sure to include at least one weekend day in your three day reporting period.
2. After collecting data over a three-day period, students will conduct an analysis of their diet and compare their findings to recommended standards as discussed in class and within the text. Students must make sure all percentages and numbers correctly balance. For each food item, I’d like you to record the number of calories, grams of carbohydrate, grams of protein and grams of fat. You will not be responsible for all of the vitamins and minerals that are listed.
3. After completing all quantitative data, students will write a three (3) page type-written analysis of their diet. The analysis will contain strengths with supporting evidence as well as areas of improvement with specific examples of how to improve their diet.
4.Submissions are to include three spreadsheets (one for each recorded day) and a three (3) page written analysis.
Business Communication Part 4 of Project- Power Point Presentation
*This is a request for Course Project Part 4. This request is for an awesome power point presentation based the documents attached
1) Project_Proposal_template_(2) (1)
2) Part 3 Course projectedited
Essentially it should sum it all up in a power point. The Presentation with slides and notes has be in between 7-8 minutes? So there has to be enough slides and notes to allow for that. The example I attached and referenced below, was provided in class to base my presentation off of, it was 17 slides. I have attached a copy as an example. Please do not re-use the slides. See below for the specifics required to complete this effort.
Please use Grammarly to check the notes section to make sure it flows and is not all run on sentences. Also it has to relate back to the two project attachments related above.

Select one area of health policy and describe the impact that policy formation places on direct patient care delivery. What component of the policy area you selected could be improved to provide better care or patient outcomes, and how?
Write a 90-100 word reply to each student post according to the prompt
Prompt:
Select one area of health policy and describe the impact that policy formation places on direct patient care delivery. What component of the policy area you selected could be improved to provide better care or patient outcomes, and how?
Explore how individuals come to understand themselves and their place in the world by analyzing one character from Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll House.
Prompt:
Explore how individuals come to understand themselves and their place in the world by analyzing one character from Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll House.
More specifically, explore the various pressures, influences, and/or stereotypes that shape or attempt to shape a character’s life, perspective, and actions, and also consider if and how the character responds to these factors. <-- address this is in your thesis and then break up into each body paragraph (refer back to the outline to clearly see how to organize this essay)
In developing your analysis, you must refer to A Doll House and outside sources; you must use direct quotations from these sources and from Ibsen’s play.
Although this assignment asks you to do outside reading, your main task remains the same: to produce an argument of your own drawing upon a literary text. The outside sources are meant to help you develop and deepen your own interpretation of A Doll House, not to substitute for it.
You are using the sources to help you understand your chosen character’s ideas, behavior, self-understanding, presentation to the world, etc.
For this essay you will also do some outside research –you should use our library databases available from Harbor College: http://libguides.lahc.edu/library (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.
(Links to an external site.)
to add extra depth and evidence to your analysis of the themes and issues in this play and/or sources available online. These can be sources to help define specific symbols, and/or the story. Sources NOT allowed are: Wikipedia, Shmoop, SparkNotes, a blog, etc. (sources cited in this essay must be from a published website, article, journal, etc). You can also use Google Scholar but make sure at least one source is from one of our academic databases from Harbor.
There is also an outline posted for this essay which I strongly suggest you look at and attempt to fill in – it will give you an idea of how to structure and focus each paragraph.
Requirements to be eligible for an A or B paper:
6 – 8 pages
Arguable Thesis – discuss the various pressures, influences, and/or stereotypes that shape or attempt to shape a character’s life, perspective, and actions, and also consider if and how the character responds to these factors
MLA formatted (5 points will be automatically deducted if your essay is not MLA formatted)
Use textual evidence to support your thesis – needs direct quotes from the play as well as at least THREE outside sources – one of these needs to be from an academic database)
Works Cited page (5 points will be automatically deducted if your Works Cited page is not correctly formatted – there is a handout posted under ‘Research Paper Module’)
Use Formal Language – no ‘you, us, we, our, I, etc’
