The goal of your reading reactions is to connect your experiences with the text by interpreting, evaluating, applying and even sometimes considering alternative responses or interpretations of the information you are learning. For this assignment, you are required to write a 500 word minimum (no maximum) response to the materials that are posted on that week’s Canvas page. In order to receive full credit, all materials must be included in your reading reaction. You will post your 500+ word response here.
For your reflections, consider the questions below. You are not limited to these questions, but your answer must be thoughtful and academically strong. In other words, you are expected to use advanced terminology and concepts learned in the course in your postings. Case Study #2
Claude Jean-Baptiste is recovering from post-hip replacement surgery and has been transferred to the Rehabilitation Institute adjacent to the hospital. How a Bill Becomes a Law may appear to be a fairly straightforward and not all that complex a process if you simply review a typical diagram provided in most textbooks. Despite this straightforward process, many political commentators argue that gridlock or the inability of Congress to pass meaningful and necessary legislation dominates the current congressional era. What are the causes and consequences of congressional gridlock?
Activity:
