Assignment Directions
Using a provided online Case Study, students will apply and incorporate content from the CEC Code of Ethics, module resources and scenario.
Students will organize their paper in 3 parts as follows:
a) Answer questions from the case study (include questions with responses)

c) one prevention strategy (what could have been done differently?

Please pick TWO novels out of the following three with their question to be answered:
1. Emile Bergeaud, Stella
Bergeaud: How do the brothers Romulus and Remus represent the different threads, sometimes convergent, sometimes at odds, of the Haitian Revolution?
2. Kincaid’s Autobiography of My Mother
Kincaid: In Kincaid’s novel, how do race, class, and gender intersect in the life of the novel’s protagonist?
3. Levy, A Small Island
Levy: How does Levys novel describe the in-betweenness of the immigrant/migrant experience?
Each Paper/Answer should accomplish the following:
It should possess an original thesis, a.k.a., an argument that is your own.
It should use select quotes from the novels not long block quotes, but selective quotes that reinforce, rather than replace, your argument.
How do the novels compare to the real-life historical circumstances?

Select a company, government agency or any other service outlet and one of its products that interest you to study from an applied economic point of view. A. At the end of this course, you should turn in a term paper that analyzes and estimates the demand of your chosen firms product(s) or service(s) USING REGRESSIONAL ANALYSIS.
B. Assume that your company or agency is concerned about near-term economic conditions and wishes to obtain a qualitative forecast of sales or service in the upcoming quarter. Assume also that you are the market analyst for your company or agency planning to use one or more of the leading economic indicators (LEI) published by the US Department of Commerce to formulate your qualitative forecast.
