In general, I am looking for you to identify the main points and central takeaways of the lecture. Each lecture is aimed to enhance our understanding of Black Studies by discussing different historical events, key thinkers, and ongoing debates in the field. So your notes should reflect those different components. You might think of your notes as speaking to these overarching questions: How does this lecture help me understand the focus of Black Studies? What new people did I learn about? What time period does it concern? What are the issues under discussion and why do they matter?

Your notes should demonstrate your best understanding of the material as you read them. I am not looking for you to “get it right” but to show me what you took away from the reading. Your notes could also surface questions or confusions that you had about the lecture and might be good to discuss in class.

The Case of the Woman Who Wouldn’t Sleep
Miss M usually sleeps only 1 hour per night. Although she is retired, she keeps busy painting, writing, and volunteering in the community. Although she becomes tired physically, she never reports feeling sleepy. During the night she sits on her bed reading, writing, crocheting, or painting. At about 2:00 a.m., she often falls asleep without any preceding drowsiness, and when she wakes about 1 hour later, she feels wide awake. She came to the laboratory for some sleep tests, but on the first night we ran into a snag. She told us she did not sleep at all if she had interesting things to do, and she found her visit to a sleep laboratory very interesting. She had someone to talk to for the whole of the night. In the morning, we broke into shifts so that some could sleep while at least one person stayed with her. The second night was the same as the first. Finally, on the third night, she promised to try to sleep, and she did. The only abnormal thing about her sleep was that it was brief. After 99 minutes, she could sleep no more.Read the following case sand offer some possible explanations why Miss M is not able to sleep. Support your answer with evidence from the readings assigned.

7 Benchmark – Technology Integrated Lesson Plan

Technology tools have a place in all academic areas so teachers need to know how to select the best tools and utilize them to support the learning objectives.

In classrooms that incorporate STEM, it is important to use a variety of teaching strategies and technologies that encourage students’ development of critical thinking and problem-solving. Creating learning experiences that incorporate project-based learning and all components of STEM into one lesson is a vital aspect of instruction.

Part 1: STEM Lesson Plan
For this assignment, select a grade level and design an original project-based lesson plan using the “COE Lesson Plan Template” located in the College of Education site in the Student Success Center and the “Class Profile” in order to differentiate to meet the diverse needs of all students. This plan will be based on at least two STEM content standards that align to the learning experience.
Your lesson plan should focus on:
Designing a project-based learning experience that incorporates all components of STEM and creates opportunities for active inquiry, collaboration, and supportive interaction, based on the knowledge of various forms of effective communication (verbal, nonverbal, and media).
Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and forms of technology during the learning experience and assessment that encourage development of critical thinking and problem-solving.
Differentiating and modifying instruction, learning activity, and assessment to meet the diverse needs of students and encouraging all students to fully engage in STEM instructional activities.

Part 2: Reflection
In 250-500 words, summarize and reflect on the process of designing a learning experience that integrates all components of STEM into instruction. How can you collaborate with and incorporate the input, contributions, and knowledge of families, colleagues, and other professionals in order to meet the diverse needs of students? How does your lesson plan create opportunities for active inquiry, collaboration, supportive interactive, based on various forms of communication techniques?

Support your findings with a minimum of three scholarly resources.

What is your stance on the controversy? Why?

Use the attached draft to make slides. Reference number 2, 3, and 4 are supporting Mediterranean diet for prevention of heart diseases and reference number 1, 5, and 6 are either showing a different diet that helps prevent heart disease or us against Mediterranean diet. I have also attached a presentation as an example. There should be 7-8 slides.

• Director of Golf
• Director of Aquatics
• Director of Food & Beverage
• Director of Tennis Operations
• Director of Finance

You will review the section on Organizational Structures in chapter 15. Your job is to change the structure from functional to the structure that makes the most sense. In this new structure, you will include the positions above and any departments/personnel that report to them. This will result a professional visual of the structure.
Also included is a one or two paragraph description of why this new structure will address the clubs issues.
