Lab #4 Reactions of Hydrocarbons [No proton NMR experiment]

THIS IS AN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY COURSE!!

Please read the entire lab manual that is uploaded and watch the youtube video to help write the report.
THE LAB MANUAL AND THE YOUTUBE VIDEO SHOULD BE THE ONLY SOURCES CITED.

The lab report should include:
_ a purpose that is AT LEAST A PARAGRAPH LONG
_ an introduction that should be AT LEAST 2-3 paragraphs and it inculdes the drawing of the lewis structure for the chemicals used in the experiment, short procedure and diagrams and THAT IS TO BE A HAND-DRAWING ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND TAKE PICTURE AND UPLOAD INTO THE DOCUMENT OF LAB REPORT
_ fill-out the table towards the end of the lab manual, and make sure you write careful observation/s of the classification tests with color change or precipitate formation. For example, the reaction of colorless cyclohexane (hydrocarbon) with orange red color bromine in dark (no visible light), Observation: organge red color of bromine did not chagne indicates no reaction occured, a negative test. However, if you do the same test under visible light conditions, observation: orange red color of the reagent bromine changes to light yellow and slowly to colorless in about 5 minutes indicates positive test. Similarly, you carefully observe the color changes/precipitate formation for other classification tests for cyclohexene and toluene (methyl benzene).
_ Finally, answer the Post-Labratory questions at the end of the lab report.

Academic Appeal letter

In this letter, I would like to appeal my current dismissal status. Due to mitigating circumstances, including the sudden loss of loved ones, the loss had a detrimental impact on my mental well-being. August 2022, when my aunt died, I had a deep emotional strand on my ability to focus. She was a pillar of my grandmother’s family, and dealing with loss was difficult for me. Due to my value for education, I was determined not to give up despite difficult times. In October, the first day of the fall quarter, my father became critically ill and spent several weeks in the hospital’s critical care unit. During my father’s illness, I was in the hospital every day to ensure he received proper care. He was in a difficult state for quite some time, as the medical team had a difficult time stabilizing him. My academic responsibility was impeded by so much uncertainty. He had frequent readmissions into the hospital every two weeks after being released from the hospital. During this time, I became extremely overwhelmed and sought guidance from my professor. The support and encouragement I received contributed to my decision to continue pursuing my academic goals. I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. While I was enrolled in 4 courses during the winter quarter, I was optimistic about rebuilding my GPA and returning to the satisfactory academic standing I knew I was capable of. After the sudden loss of my dear cousin in January, my emotional wellbeing was negatively impacted, causing disturbed sleep, fatigue, and anxiety. There was a struggle to manage my daily routine and concentrate on my studies, including course discussions and assignments. This ultimately resulted in an inability to manage four courses at the same time. My physical health was adversely affected by these factors. and caused me to seek medical care
For the next quarter, I will reduce my course load to one course in order to get back on track. The opportunity to pursue a (DSW) doctoral degree will allow me to develop expertise in advocacy and social justice. By participating in this program, I will gain knowledge and expertise that will enrich my career. My objective is to remain on target and receive academic support every five weeks by keeping in touch with my academic coach. In this letter, I would like to appeal my current dismissal status. Breaking The Glass Ceiling, Specifically Women in Higher-Ranking Positions

Hey you worte this essay 10 days ago and Finally recevied some feedback and some corredctions that need to be made prior to submitting my final copy I’d appracate if you could please make these corrections. By making this more applicable to Canadian governance and what measures the Canadian government or other levels of government have done to address the gender gap. This would require you re-focusing your research question and hypothesis somewhat, but I think it would be manageable. You should also integrate discussion of pension inequality into the research question and try to make a more explicit connection between the glass ceiling and pension funds. There are a lot of moving parts to this paper and I think it represents and improvement, but I would encourage you to think about what line can be drawn through all these parts and how it applies to Canadian public administration. If you can make those connections, even at the beginning and ending of major paragraphs, as well as in the introduction and conclusion (which needs to be written)
