may also find other chapters in Books 13 useful.

When you have finished going through the useful material for this question, you should sketch
out an essay plan.

A possible structure might be as follows:
1 Introduction (with the thesis idea) introduce the two (or more) factors that you are
going to discuss.
2 Body paragraphs explain the ways in which these two (or more) factors may influence
our speaking styles. You should try to discuss them on three levels: lexis, grammar and
accent.
3 Conclusion
4 References
You should acknowledge the sources you have used or consulted by giving proper citations and
compiling a bibliography.
