Background personal information for paper: I’m currently applying to grad school to major in school counseling. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology. Since graduating in 2019 with my degree, I went on to work in the child welfare system. I’m currently a foster care case planner in NY. I have a personal connection to the child welfare system as my mother is a foster parent and adopted two teens last year. My long term goal is to work with teens as a guidance counselor and provide any in school support they may need.
