Current System Analysis and Modelling and Repor

Quality of ES and Introduction
ES and Introduction have different purposes; you need to understand the differences between the two terms.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Discussion of the key problems of the current system
Explain the challenges the business is facing (such as environments, competition, and technologies). A detailed discussion of key problems (select 3 problems) of their current system. Explain in general how these issues/ problems impact their overall business.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome BA roles
BA roles, the business and IS analysts need to have a “big picture” view of any business and their information systems. You are required to list the major responsibilities which you should take on to help the business. What is your basic plan, where you start, what you do and what you want to achieve.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Discuss the techniques of identifying the use cases.
Explain what technique you used to identify the use cases

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Functional/non-functional requirements for the current system.
List all key functional and non-functional requirements for the current system.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Events Table
You need to create an event table which includes 12 key events; you should also complete a Data fragment for each event identified. Please read the assignment specification for details.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome A levelled set of data flow diagrams for the current system
Dataflow diagrams should include Context Diagram, Level 0 DFD (top-level DFD), and ONE level 1 DFD.
Need to consider the consistency between all levels DFDs (level 1, level 0, and context diagram).
Ensure all your models are legible. If we cannot read, then ‘0’ mark will apply.
All models have to be completed by using drawing software (suggest to use Visio, it is available on all university computers. You can also download it via ELMS (software free for Swinburne students).

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Dataflow dictionary describing the data flows in the DFD
Must use the data dictionary (logical) notation provided. Should be consistent with DFD. You need to select at least THREE (3) major data flows.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome An entity relationship diagram for the current system
Should contain all key data entities; for each entity, you must include primary and foreign keys, and some of the key attributes; All relationships between entities have to be clearly presented. The ERD should be consistent with DFDs. Business rules description should be included in the report (how to read your ERD).

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Data dictionary describing the attributes of at least 1 data entity in your ER diagram
Must use the data dictionary (physical) notation provided. Should be consistent with ERD.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Process description
• For each of the processes identified you should provide a brief description (a sentence or two is okay).
• Provide a detailed description of something like structured English for one of the lower-level processes.

This criterion is linked to a learning outcome Document Quality
The report should be well organized, easily readable and clear to the reader

Netflix report

The main body of the report must be between 2-3 pages, single-spaced. The main body should comprise the following:

Introduction/Background information – include relevant facts and issues that Netflix faces including its competition (I am definitely expecting to see a discussion of Disney +, Hulu, HBO, and/or others in the India Market). Then, specific to Netflix, please describe its corporate culture (see Culture Deck). Also, please elaborate on how Netflix has been able to grow and become so successful.

Financial Analyses –
1.Forecast the future cash flow of Netflix (2023-2027) (See Netflix Free Cash Flow Projection.xlsx document attached )
2.Project forward both International & Domestic subscribers (2020-2025) (Use N annual subs tab of Netflix data supplement.xlsx document attached ) Either use the excel forecasting tool or calculate the growth rate and forecast it 5 years forward.
3.Create a Breakeven analysis for Netflix’s India market and summarize what it means (See BreakEvenAnalysis tab of Netflix data supplement.xlsx see same document attached)
4.Discuss how Netflix may be better to fund growth. To date, Netflix has relied heavily on debt to fund its investment in content, but is that sustainable? Could competitors use their vastly superior financial resources to “outlast” Netflix in the Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) wars? There’s really 4 options here. These are outlined in the Netflix Case Slides.pptx Option 1 grow subscribers without increasing costs; Option 2 raise prices; Option 3 cut operating fixed costs of the business; Option 4 abandon the India market or try to acquire/merge with a company who is already beyond breakeven in that market. Whatever your answer is… please elaborate.

Recommendation/Solution – Using the information you’ve collected from the previous sections, please answer the following questions:
Which elements of its strategy should Netflix stick to and which should it be willing to change to grow in India?
Should Netflix reconsider its premium pricing approach in the country to attract cost-conscious consumers?
Should Netflix continue to operate in the Indian market alone, as it had in all other countries, or work with a local partner? Historically Netflix had avoided large acquisitions, but buying or merging with a local player might accelerate its growth in the Indian market.*Note for this section there are not necessarily correct answers, please just provide support for your claims.
Figures and tables could be placed in an appendix at the end of the paper but preferably incorporated in the body where appropriate. All figures and tables must be numbered, and all pages. Including pages with figures and tables, must be numbered.

How do gestures affect the learning abilities of children? Are blind children left out of these learning opportunities

Prompt:
The research question I want to propose includes “How do gestures affect the learning abilities of children? Are blind children left out of these learning opportunities?
My independent variable is blind children and sight-seeing children.
My dependent variable is the learning outcome.
My hypothesis is that blind children will perform worse.

Instructions:
*FIRST LOOK AT THE ATTACHED FILE THAT HAS THE SLIDES INFORMATION ON GESTURES*

Your proposal needs to include the following (in order):

– Description of your research question, how it relates to an understanding of cognition, and why it is important to determine. [Introduction]
– Literature review of the current state of the topic. This should include experiments we discussed in class as well as more modern “cutting edge” research. You should cite at least three academic sources in your literature review (more information on these sources below). [Introduction]
– Summary of current guiding theory and competing theories as well as gaps in the research your project will fill in. Your experiment needs to put theory/theories to the test in some way and clearly improve our theoretical understanding of whatever cognitive process you are investigating. This should include references to Embodied Cognition or possibly Wilson (2013). [Introduction]
– A hypothesis and rationale. Make a clear prediction and fully explain why you think those are the results you will get. [Introduction]
– Proposed experiment including information about participants, design, materials, and procedure. Note this is all written in the future tense, and your participants section talks about who you want to be in the study and roughly how many you want to get. [Method]
– Clear explanation about how the results of your proposed experiment will answer outstanding questions in cognitive science and contribute to an understanding of the mind. Should also talk about the “wider-reaching” implications of your work for general public if relevant. [Conclusion]

Some basic guidelines:

– Your final paper will likely be around 3-5 double spaced pages, but quality is more important than quantity.
– Tone, headings, style, and citations should be in proper APA format.
– Your literature review must include a reference to the Embodied Cognition textbook OR one of the required assigned papers.
– Your literature review must also include at least two additional academic sources from outside the readings and lecture slides, properly cited in APA format. Of the sources you use, at least one must be from the past five years (2018 or more recent).
– You must propose an experiment! Surveys or observations are not acceptable. Quasi-experiments are allowed as long as they are justified (i.g., they would be hard/impossible to do as a true experiment). As long as you have an IV that varies between at least two groups and a quantifiable DV you are fine.
Your participants should all be humans – no rat maze studies, even though they are fun.

Nurse Practitioner Practice Authority

Write a paper using APA (not more than 1500 words, not including references) discussing PMHNP practice authority in Illinois, including regulations related to prescriptive authority. What challenges do foresee that might confront you regarding entering into practice, relative to the current practice climate in Illinois?

“Was Indian Removal Humanitarian or Racist” (I chose that it was a Racist act)

Your Term Paper should clearly present the America’s History or Taking Sides topic you have chosen to explore, explain the viewpoints of the America’s History or Taking Sides authors who debate/discuss this topic, analyze the evidence both authors use to support their position, explain the issue’s impact on the historical time period and then present and defend your point of view regarding the question posed.

Your essay should be composed of three main parts:

1. The introduction or opening paragraph of your essay should clearly convey to the reader that the debate/discussion takes place in either America’s History or Taking Sides, the topic of the debate, and the importance of the issue in regard to the historical time period in which the debate is centered. In addition, your introduction should summarize the varying viewpoints of the historians (by name) debating this topic. It is also important that you declare your thesis or your point of view concerning the issue being discussed in the introduction. You must pick a side, or present a new perspective/thesis to answer the question presented in the debate.

2. The body of your paper should consist of several paragraphs. Begin with two paragraphs that explain each author’s position and evidence (at least one paragraph explaining each author’s position). Follow with at least one paragraph that explains your analysis of the authors’ evidence and ability to persuade the reader. Next present your thesis/point of view. Your point of view should be accompanied by an explanation of how you came to your conclusion. Be sure to offer a thorough explanation of your position, how you came to your conclusions and the evidence to support your position. Your evidence may include key points made by the authors in America’s History, Taking Sides or your other two sources. Outside sources are required. You must have two additional sources in addition to America’s History or Taking Sides. If you use both America’s History and Taking Sides in your Works Cited, you still need two additional sources.

3. In the final paragraph, or the conclusion, you must restate the issue being debated, the impact or importance of this issue in regard to the historical time period, the varying America’s History or Taking Sides perspectives concerning this topic, as well as your position. The conclusion should be used to remind the reader of all that has been written in the essay, and then it should end with a final statement of significance or thought concerning the issue you have chosen to discuss.
You must use proper MLA citations throughout your paper and you MUST have a proper MLA formatted Works Cited.

Using this book (America’s History: Concise Edition , Henretta, et. al., Volume 1, 10th edition ISBN-13: 978-1319275884) is mandatory as a source! Make sure you are using authors names (Last names)

Here are the author sources as well incase you aren’t able to acess the book:
Source: Robert V. Remini, Andrew Jackson and the Course of American Freedom, 1822–1832 (New York: Harper & Row, 1981), 2: 221–222, 228.
Source: Anthony F. C. Wallace, The Long Bitter Trail: Andrew Jackson and the Indians (New York: Hill & Wang,1993), 5–6, 56.Source:

The other two sources are of yout choosing but here are two suggestions
PBS SoCal Indian removal (https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part4/4p2959.html)
History State Office of the Historian Milestones: 1830-1860. Indian Treaties and the Removal Act of 1830. (https://history.state.gov/milestones/1830-1860/indian-treaties)

The debate topic I chose was “Was Indian Removal Humanitarian or Racist”. This topic debate can be found in our book “American History”, I chose it being a racist act. If the Indian Removal had not been based on a racist action and had been humanitarian then why did so many Indians die by this removal? If it were a humanitarian act the Indians would have been protected but this is not the case. Indians were in fact forced to leave their home lands even if they didn’t want to “voluntarily”, this was all a racist act on Jackson’s part as well as everyone who passed this act/law. So many Indians died because of this removal policy, many dying on the Trail of Tears because of their removal.

Heres some information I already found that you can use! (Just make sure to address author by last name I did the first name on accident) You can of course choose different facts/information to support our side etc…

The Indian Removal act was a racist move from Jackson. He didn’t actually care about helping the Indians and just wanted their land and to be rid of the Indians because of their “White man’s country”. Jackson technically didn’t give the Indians an option either he “negotiated” with them to move and then those who didn’t want to ended up having to because of the forced removal policy. Many Indians ended up dying on the Trail of Tears showing it was not humanitarian it was a racist act.

The two America’s History author’s are Robert V. Remini and Anthony F. C. Wallace. Robert’s position on this topic is that it was a humanitarian act on Jackson’s part; he claims that it was a “hard and cruel” yet “kind” and “necessary” action. He also states that Jackson was trying to help them because he “was trying to get the Indian to a place of safety which he fervently believed existed west of the Mississippi River.” Then we have Anthony’s position claiming that this topic is a racist act on Jackson’s part. He defends his side of the debate with information of Jackson’s actions as president. He also states “the sense of America as the redeemer nation destined for continental expansion, the open acceptance of racism as a justification not only for enslavement of blacks but also for the exploitation of Native Americans — these were popular, politically powerful themes that would have driven any Democratic President to press for a policy of Indian removal.” This also defends Anthony’s case.

The three facts I will be using to support my position is (be sure to connect each point to racism):

1. I will use statements from our books as well as other sources to explain how the Indians who didn’t want to leave were moved with force and although Jackson never admitted to just executing all of them publicly we are sure that the ones who didn’t “voluntarily” leave were moved with force in ways that caused them to die, for example the Trail of Tears.

2. I will also talk about Anthony’s examples such as the open acceptance of racism in America such as enslavements of blacks and the exploitation of Native Americans being a big factor on why Jackson’s actions and policies were acts of racism not humanitarian actions.

3. another fact I will use to support my position will be the fact that they were always taking their land and although Jackson never publicly announced to kill the Indians he sent them away which caused them to then die (Trail of Tears) and although they were “negotiating” with the Indians he really gave them no choice because in the end the Indians were still forced to move when in reality they should have had a choice if it were really “humanitarian”.

How it will be graded:
1) Has the America’s History or Taking Sides debate been clearly summarized in the introduction? (15 points)
2) Does the body of the essay contain analysis of both authors’ (by name) positions and evidence? (25 points)
3) Does the student show an understanding of how the topic is connected to the historical period? (20 points)
4) Does the student provide a clear thesis regarding the topic, with analysis and evidence to support his/her position? (25 points)
5) Has the student provided appropriate sources and a MLA formatted Works Cited?
6) Has the student followed all of the directions regarding formatting and submission of the assignment? Does the paper contain proper grammar (including citations), been properly proofread, and demonstrate college level work? (10 points)
