These are some questions that will help guide this research process:
What is a mission statement? What is the value of a mission statement? Who benefits from the mission statement and how? Can there be from those employees (in this case finance and HR) who are not connected to the mission of the organization, when enforced to carry out the mission? What other pressures or goals do certain staff have (such as operations, finance, compliance, etc)? Why? What might their professional training and backgrunds have to do with their approach to the “mission”? Why is the mission of an organization of value for those who provide direct service?
