job analysis and recruiting method

Discussion One: Review the material presented in the course about how to conduct a job analysis, the various methods for collecting data, and the pros and cons of the various methods. Then, develop a plan to gather data for a job analysis. You will need to a) select the position (a job) to analyze; b) use at least two methods for collecting data; c) collect the data using the methods selected and d) summarize your findings in a short job description and job specification. If you do not have a position in a typical office, retail establishment or production facility you can use, seek out a position from elsewhere. The opportunities could include a server at a restaurant, a service provider in your home, your hair stylist, a sales assistant, the receptionist at your doctor’s office or perhaps your child’s teacher. Include the following:

1. The position you selected to analyze

2. The methods you selected for gathering data

3. The rationale for why you selected the methods you did

4. A discussion of your experience in collecting this data

5. A short sample position description and job specification you were able to design based on the data you gathered.

You may use a word document if you like or provide your proposal in the content of your response window.

Be sure to provide the references for the sources of the information you used to inform your analysis including the material provided in the classroom.

Discussion Two: Complete the following:

a) Summarize and explain the major EEOC laws related to the recruiting process. How can recruiters and hiring managers reduce the risk of adverse impact?

b) Discuss three methods of recruiting to obtain a diverse group of applicants and explain why they are effective.

c) Explain the concept of employment at will. What are the risks and benefits of employment at will doctrine? How is the employment at will doctrine influenced by EEOC laws?

d) Application: Read the Module 2 Case and in-depth scenario 1. Draft a short memo to the founders of HSS to address the issues with the hiring practices. Specifically, address what laws or regulations may apply, organizational risks and discuss suggestions for how the hiring practices at HSS should be modified. You may use a word document if you like or provide your proposal in the content of your response window.

Be sure to provide the references for the sources of the information you used including the material provided in the classroom.

Make sure to also respond to two students with thoughtful comments.

SMEs adoption of the UN SDGs – The case of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms

This part of my literature review looks at architecture firms adoption of the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs). I need to review research papers which cover SMEs from the field in differnt parts of the world to see if there are any similar findings. I have found a few studies but I need more. Studies must be published between 2015 – 2023. I would liketo approve the chosen studies before the writer starts writing the literature review. This review will be included in my final masters thesis, it is not a class assignment.

My research questions are:
1. What is the state of awareness/knowledge of architectural firm SMEs about the UN SDGs
2. What are the challenges and limitations architectueral firms face when implementating SDGs in Bahrain?
3. What are the sustainable practices adopted by architectural firm SMEs in Bahrain?
4. What are the policies and regulations to support the SDG implementation within architectural firm SMEs Bahrain?

Objectives are:
1. Identify the extent of Bahraini MSMEs knowledge about the SDGs
2. Understand if MSMEs are actually implementing sustainability principles in their business strategy, contributing to the SDGs, and what are the barriers in both cases of implementation or not.
3. Assess the types of sustainability practices of MSMEs in Bahrain
4. Develop a strategic or conceptual design management framework to address the problem highlighted in this research.

Cultural report- plan a trip to italy

You must write a 5 paragraph (4 pages) minimum research paper on Italy, reflecting the language you are learning. Research some of the cultural aspects of that country like: Fashion/ Italian Food/ Cheese / Wine Regions History / Art / Music / Museums / Cinema/ Famous Beaches / Rome the Capital / Coliseum / Vesuvius / Pompeii / Venice and more ..and talk about the places and landmarks you would visit in a certain city therein. (you can ‘visit’ more than one city)

Paragraph 1: Introduction of what you will be writing about (should not include research, should be about your first impression in your own words) approx. 1/3 page or more. Paragraphs 2- 4: Body paragraphs should include information about the places you’d visit and the cultural side you’ve chosen. Paragraph 5: End your report with a conclusion of your impressions after having ‘gone’ on this trip. In-Text: Each body paragraph should include at least 1 in-text citation (4 in total). Reports missing in text citations will automatically lose 25% with no chance to correct it. Please insure it’s done correctly before submitting it into Turn it in.

Fan Engagement Hibernian FC

Capture data on a football associated organisation of your choice (data capture will be explained in class). Using online social media metrics captured, evaluate the impact of fan engagement and the importance of determining the relevance of such information to the football associated organisation, in particular fan typologies. Based upon the data analysis, recommend a new fan engagement strategy within your report.Capture data on a football associated organisation of your choice. In this case Hibernian FC. Social Media metrics ive taking it from SOCIOVIZ website, so you need to know to explain and analyse the data from that platform. I have collected 4 weeks of data that needs to be evaluated fro each week and with a final conclusion. Also i reccommend you reading my report, the main things are missing is the socioviz analysis and adding more references mainly in text. You can add in the report twitter photos that they posted to put an example with the Socioviz data. In the files i will add too all the weeks analysis of socioviz that all the graphs and data will need to go tp the appendix or in text if is needed.
