Revisions to my statement of purpose, mention seeking admission into a data science masters program. Tips given by an admission counselor for current essay are:
1. highlight any programming or quantitative skills and experience across

My experience with programming is at the basic level with only gaining insight through videos or shadowing friends that code. Quantitative skills will be gained across various college courses include calculus, biostats, etc.
No hands on experience using programming language which may be seen as a weakness

Compose a 2 page, double spaced essay on a Word document or PDF and submit by the end of Sunday (. Remember typical standards for
composing essays: (No more than 1 inch margins, 12 point font, have a title, and indent paragraphs). Ideally – 1 page for the geology and
landforms and 1 page summarizing what you learned about the plant communities/ecosystems. Kind of like a journal style.

The purpose of this assignment is to practice a close reading of cinematic texts. You are to select a brief scene consisting of exactly 6 shots – from Within Our Gates to analyze in great detail. Your goal is to understand how each and every detail of the cinematic text combines to make the meaning of the whole film.
Here is how to do this assignment: Pick a sequence from Within Our Gates carefully; you get 6 shots, no more and no less. Dont feel like you need to pick the most dramatic, symbolic or complicated parts of the film. Often the simplest and seemingly least significant moments are the best ones for a segment analysis, because you will find that the real drama is always present somewhat during such moments. Next, watch the segment over and over and over again, and with each viewing take notes on different aspects of the films form: mise-en-scene, camera angles, cutting patterns, blocking and movement, sound and music. Then consider how these components work together to build the scene.
In writing your paper, do not use evaluative language, you are not writing a movie review nor is it your job to convince us that Within Our Gates is a good or bad movie. Your job is to look closely at a 6-shot sequence from an old movie and learn what and how they communicate.
Your paper should be clearly structured into four parts. This is not a narrative essay but an interpretive exercise. Use the proper cinematic terminology as provided in the handout Useful Terms for Film Analysis.
1. Introduction: Situate your clip by giving a very brief synopsis of where your clip appears during your chosen film (you can assume that your reader has seen the film). Narrate your chosen clip in only a sentence or two and suggest its larger meaning. Your introduction needs to present a clear argument about how the film presents a particular style, but how these stylistic choices speak to the larger issues presented in the film as a whole. This should be no more than a short paragraph.
2. Shot Chart: Using the chart (below) clearly list every shot (6 and only 6 shots) in your chosen sequence and fill out the required information. Within the chart, indicated shots basic elements including time signature, camera distance, height and angle, any camera movements, depth of field, shot compositions, characters and blocking. Make note of the transitions from one shot to another using the proper terms, most will be simple cuts, but make note of special devices such as match cuts, cross cutting, dissolves, etc. Include in titles in this list (textual in-titles do count as individual shots) but do not record dialogue, stick to the visual. You must use the chart attached for this section.
3. Analysis of Clip: Write up your analysis of the segments styles by observing not only what the segment says or does, but how it is communicated in your chosen clip. For example: Consider how mise-en-scene is used to create tension or mark racial difference? How does the camera movement accentuate the motion of the actors? What overall effect does the cutting pattern create? Your analysis should give evidence to the fact that the formal and visual aspects of film are as important as the story it tells. Focus only on the visual elements; do not discuss the films dialogue or music. Your analysis section should be a minimum of 3 full pages.
4. Conclusion: By way of a conclusion, you should draw the larger interpretive connections between the few minutes of film you obsessed over and the film text as a whole how does the style and vision of the selected parts illuminate the meaning and ideology of the whole film, and by extension the history of race and representation under consideration in your chosen film.

Please, I am trying to appeal for my financial aid because I am jobless/unemployed, and just graduated with my associate degree. I am applying for 4 years bachelor’s degree in BAT Bachelor of science.

Resolution and/or Conclusion: If you see a possible resolution of this organization’s ethical issues, present it clearly. The Austrian School of Economics
Today we will briefly explore the Austrian Schools of Economics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r44S_biFKGQ) and the Theory of Saving and Investment. Before watching that video, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the political philosophy of Friedrich Hayek(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHsCkinrCPE), whose views were in sharp contrast to the Keynesian view of active economic management. After watching these videos provide a short summary. Make sure to identify the main ideas behind Austrian School of economics as they relate to money, savings and investment.
