is an auditing class
Here
are two questions

three concepts that you found eye-opening that you were not aware of before
taking this course.

I have
not had any work in auditing or really knew much about it before this class and
a lot of the information is new. I did not realize that it could be so
easy for someone to create fraudulent records.
I found it interesting
that auditors would need to get to know and understand the business they are
auditing before an audit starts. It makes sense now that I have learned more
about the process.
I also did not know
about internal controls and how they are important in an audit. It does
make sense that you would be able to more quickly find errors if you have an
understanding of them in each company you audit.
I was also not aware
of the external verification processes that auditors used. There were a couple
of different kinds and I can see now how each one would be effective and some
more than others, such as the blank on where the outside source actually puts
in the information.
