Identify a newspaper article that discusses a criminal activity and address the following components:
Within the newspaper article, how does the article describe crime and/or the criminal activity mentioned in the article?
Using the textbook, compare the definition of crime used within the newspaper article to the definition of crime provided in the textbook.
Using the textbook, identify which public safety systems (law enforcement, courts, corrections) were mentioned within the article.
In your opinion, do you think the ‘punishment fits the crime’?
