Should public college be tution free?

Defend a position on an issue that reasonable people currently disagree about. 2-3 pages, a minimum of two sources representing differing positions on the issue.

For this essay, find an issue that you want to write about. The point of the essay is to defend your own position on the issue. If you are having difficulty coming up with an issue you may want to look at Procon.org; a website that has information on many current issues. Refer to the Analytic essay skills rubric listed in module 1.

Remember, a minimum of two sources are required, one that agrees with you, and one that defends a different point of view.

Are you simple and sweet like vanilla, classic yet unpredictable like chocolate chip, or a little nutty like pistachio? Whatever the flavor or reasons may be, we want to know what ice cream flavor best reflects your personality and why?

“Summer and ice cream go hand-in-hand. In fact, July is National Ice Cream Month, and that’s the inspiration behind this award. We think people are very similar to ice cream; some are nutty, others a little exotic, while some are very comforting. If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?” (250 words or less)

Are patients who receive pre-operative education on use of Sequential Compression Devices less likely to have Deep Vein Thrombosis (DTV) after surgery?

There are 2 parts of this assignment. I will be posting the other assignment that relates to this. It has to relate to my research question.

My research questions is:

Discussion Post:
State what your design will be and what methods you will be using.
Identify the potential threats to the design you have chosen for your project.

The lady with the pet dog

Research paper on why do Gurov and Anna fall in love in “The Lady with the Pet Dog”? It should begin with an introductory paragraph that clearly articulates the argument/thesis you have devised about the work and then lay out the evidence you have gathered to support the argument.

You may use secondary criticism about the literary work you choose to write on, though this is not required. A works cited page is necessary only if you use secondary criticism.

1. During the latter part of the Gilded Age, a series of events and actions has been described as the Farmers’ Revolt. Explain the situation and explain what happened and why it is important to the development of the United States and how it set the stage for the Progressive Movement.

2. From the beginning of the term, there have been several themes developing including nationalism, internationalism, and on the home front, the rise of the middle class. From what you’ve learned and using plenty of examples from the course materials and readings and your research, thoroughly describe this rise of the middle class in America up to the halfway point in the course. Don’t forget to cite any and all sources you use. Remember, you must use your own words. Any use of others’ work without citation will result in a zero for the question.
