Write a paper on what Americans have used history for or against commemoration.

See attached document and answer all questions. no front page or resource page is needed. Questions are opinions, personal ideas or knowledge based.

Directions:
This assignment asks you to consider how history and commemoration can be contentious issues in society today (even though the podcast is several years old, it’s still relatively recent). You are going to listen to a podcast, which you can access when you begin the assignment, and then you’ll be asked to discuss how two competing sides to the story use history to support their argument for removing or keeping the statue under consideration. As you do this, brainstorm other instances in which Write a paper on what Americans have used history for or against commemoration.
To have successful short answer responses, students must include the following:
Use historical evidence (at least two examples) to support their response to the question
Show change over time.
Think of how the question under consideration was influence by events that occurred before it and include that in your response.
Write in complete sentences; follow the response length listed in the individual question
Answer at least half of the questions posed in the prompt
I pose a series of questions to help you generate ideas, but in the age of quantification in education you should make an effort to answer at least half of them as long as you’re responding to the larger question/theme

How do you consume cultural products within these two contexts?

For this assignment you are tasked with preparing a short narrative essay in which you will critically reflect on your own consumption of, and participation in, popular culture. Your work will discuss two cultural contexts—the digital and the material. Some questions you could reflect on and use to ground your work, include (but are not limited to):
How do you consume cultural products within these two contexts?
What does that consumption look like—where, when, how, with whom, etc.?
How does your consumption differ across the two contexts—what technologies, social relations, or sets of knowledges does your participation require, etc.?

Your work should draw links between consumption practices and identity formation/identity performance, addressing how, and in what ways, consuming popular culture influences your identity and the performance of that identity.
This assignment is both a personal reflection and critical engagement with course material. Your essay should draw links to the ‘Culture’ and ‘Masses’ reading by reading by Raymond Williams. Do NOT do additional research for this assignment: your work should utilize assigned reading material only.

You may discuss any aspect of popular culture or any specific popular culture product or practice. You do not need to ‘prove’ that a specific product or practice is ‘actually popular’ to critically reflect on your consumption of it or engagement with it.

Feel free to include any relevant images or links in the essay.
The use of ‘I’ and other personal pronouns is thus unavoidable and also welcomed and encouraged: go forth, use ‘I’ and speak from the first person

Tariffs are a current political topic that affect international trade and the businesses that conduct it. They are considered a barrier to trade. There are several other non-tariff barriers that add costs to international business. Elements of International Trade Theory (free trade) inform government policy on trade between and among countries (“fair trade”).

Provide an example of regional trade integration and explain whether you believe it has played an important part in government policy.

Assignment will be updatd for peer replies. 2 replys per peer. will update tonight with the peer repies that need answered.
DISCUSS
Post at least two substantive responses to your colleagues. Responses could include suggestions for further resources, questions of clarification, or providing context and insight. Avoid simple posts of agreement; if you agree, explain why and then thoughtfully further the conversation.

Provide a brief general statement summarizing the fit between your own competencies and your company’s focus.

By this point, you should have your feedback report on your competencies, your organization’s focus, and the fit between the two (based on your responses to the assessments in Weeks 1-3). Your assignment is to use the feedback report to address the questions below. Be sure to read carefully and respond to all required questions below.
Provide a brief general statement summarizing the fit between your own competencies and your company’s focus.
Think about where you want to be in two years: with your firm, or a new firm? A similar position, or a different position (either in the same firm or a new one)? Then describe the most important competency you will need to further develop in order to help you reach this position.
Note: your decision here can be influenced by the fit between yourself and your firm (which would be particularly relevant if you want to stay with your firm), how your competencies compare to the class average for competencies (e.g., if you are already very high on a competency compared to others, it may be hard to further develop), and how your firm’s focus compares to the class average for firm focuses (e.g., if you are looking to move to a more innovative firm but your firm already scores very high on innovativeness compared to the class average, it may be hard to find a more innovative firm than the one you are already in). Where relevant, include this comparative information when describing the competency you seek to develop.
Using the “3E’s” Development Model, create a development plan that outlines how you will seek to further develop the competency you identified in Question 2. In describing this plan, explicitly link it to the development model described in the course lectures. Finally, note that this should be a plan that involves considerable challenge and that is quite different from the work-related experiences you currently have.
Instructions:
Prepare response in a 1 to 1.5 page (single-spaced) MS Word document (no PDFs please). Use 12-point Times New Roman font and one-inch margins.
Do NOT use a title page (Turnitin generates one for you).
Do NOT reproduce the Assignment Question text in your response to lengthen your response.
Submit: to the digital drop box
Due date: Sunday at 11:59 p.m. EST
Points worth: 150
Grading Criteria:
Your ability to integrate relevant course materials in your analysis.
Your sources should be stated explicitly (refer to authors’ names or article titles, video or discussion session content, etc., but no bibliography is needed)
While your opinions may be well-founded, the purpose of the assignment is to assess how well you understand course materials and can integrate them and relate them to your own organizational experiences, so cite course material!
Organization and clarity of your writing and analysis (writing skills, grammar, spelling, organization and flow all matter!)
Your ability to be concise. These analyses should resemble executive summaries versus research papers
Use bullets or tables, as needed and appropriate
Do not plagiarize (see Honor Code and Academic Dishonesty info above). That is, as you use material from your readings or lectures to support your analysis (which you should do), just use your own words to describe the points you want to make

Write a Research Paper PowerPoint Psychology.

Write a Research Paper PowerPoint Psychology.

Project Overview:
This presentation assignment will provide
an opportunity to explore a topic of interest via a peer-reviewed journal
article and will assess your ability to convey information from a peer-reviewed
journal article. The assessment will focus on three distinct domains: Comprehension,
Organization, and Communication.

Comprehension will constitute your ability to
read, review, understand and explain the experimental components to your chosen
study.

Analysis and Communication will reflect your
ability to verbally discuss and inform others on the notable and pertinent
details of the experimental study you chose.

Organization will reflect your ability to put
together a concise and comprehensive presentation that conveys to the audience
all of the important components to the study that you examined.

The presentation will be done individually. Each student’s
responsibilities include: research of their topic, construction of their
slides, and presentation of their topic without
outside aide via both visual
slides and audio recording.
While students are permitted to have work be peer-reviewed or review others’
work, all information must have been gathered by each student or be original to
that student. There is a chance that some information could cross between classmates
(we’re using the same articles, after all) but by no means should two projects
have any verbatim wording (you should be using original wording anyway to avoid
plagiarism!). This project will be completed on PowerPoint (if a student does not have access to PowerPoint, they are
expected to inform the instructor as
soon as possible so that the instructor may address it).

These presentations will also
include an audio component – you will either complete a screen recording
of your presentation OR attached an audio file to it. This will count as your
‘presentation’ component and will help demonstrate to me your learning.

Resources should minimally include the peer-review article
chosen by each student. It is greatly encouraged to cite more than one source. Students
are not restricted to the aforementioned resources, but resources need to be
highly credible/trusted and should be available to everyone in the class.

Project Standards:

Cover the details relevant, key topics thoroughly within the selected topic

Minimum 7 slides (Title Slide, Introduction/Background,
Methods, Results, Applicability to Course, Conclusions/Discussion, and
Reference/Resource slides). Maximum 13 slides

Time limits range: 5-9 minutes MAX (you
can go less than 5 minutes if necessary, but don’t speed through it and
compromise content because points will be lost!)

Must follow APA (7th ed.) format
standards for in-text citations, slide references, and presentation reference

Use singular, common font, (Times New Roman,
Arial, or Calibri)

Reference
and Resource slide is required

When presenting, voice must be able to be
clearly heard. Cue cards may be used, but not relied on.

To include a participation piece, there will be
discussion submissions to cover responses to other presentations

Objectives:

Demonstrate a level of mastery and proficiency
in the primary domains: Comprehension, Organization, and Communication

Inform peers on key components to relevant
research to the field of psychology (and your own interests!)

Gain experience composing presentation material,
presenting material to your relevant peer group, and constructively examining
other presentations

Assessment Domains:

Comprehension
1. Mastery
of knowledge of material within article
2. Clear
and concise application of that knowledge
Organization
1. Inclusion
of all components to the article
2. References
page included
3. Execution
of Introduction/Background section
4. Execution
of Methods section
5. Execution
of Results section
6. Execution
of Conclusions/Discussion
Communication
1. Voice
– was the presentation conducted in a clear, concise, and understandable way
(could the audience walk away with a great understanding of your article)
2. Speech
a. Fluency
in key terminology
b. Pace
of presentation that allows audience to follow information
c. Professionalism
in speech

Grading:

These 3 Unit Presentation assignments constitute 140 points each
of your final grade point total.

Grading will be allotted along the subsections and scale
within the provided rubric. It is up to the student to demonstrate adequate
proficiency in the topic they choose. Grading will reflect the students’
abilities to present their topic logically, thoughtfully, and thoroughly.

Presentation
Topics:
The presentation articles that students can choose their
articles from are the ones included in the second week of a unit (three total)
and will have their own assigned folder. Students DO NOT have to let the
instructor know which article was chosen, just focus on presenting! And have
fun! If you find yourself enjoying the topic, use other articles to help you
understand that type of research!

If you have any futher questions please don’t hestite to ask
