At this point, you want to frame your solutions with your own argument and advocacy, rather than as “ideas” pitched by others. Presumably there’s no sports or bands if we’re in zoom school because of a pandemic, right? It’s not always clear in your writing whether this is a solution for the next pandemic, or something we should implement in-person, too. It’s contradictory when you say, at the beginning, that learning can’t be measured, but then on page 3 say that a study showed no difference in scores where students had a 4-day school week. my subject
The subject of several of my genres is the relationship between the child and the parents. I decided to choose this topic because I believe that respect, intimacy, and a healthy relationship are very important in the family. Many families do not live together and have no pleasure in living together. The absence of parents has a bad psychological effect on the child in the long run. I also want to talk about the child’s emotional problems in the family and what problems parental absence has in the child’s life. My dissertation statement for this project will be: What problems and bad consequences will the absence of parents at home and family have for the child in the future?
For Category A, I plan to use interview and article genres, and I want to interview my dad’s family. My father had many problems in his family and the absence of parents in his family had many problems for him that had a behavioral and emotional impact on my father.
