Length: 500 – 800 words
Choose one of the following two projects to complete:
Pretend you are writing to a teacher or parent magazine or you are creating an informative pamphlet or brochure. 1) Choose an exceptionality covered in class. 2) Describe what the symptoms might look like within the classroom context. 3) Discuss appropriate accommodations/modifications and practical strategies (evidence-based practices) that teachers can implement to support student participation and learning.
Choose one exceptionality from the 13 IDEA categories covered in class. Be sure to use people-first language since you are pretending to write something for a larger audience.
Be sure to include adequate background information about the exceptionality, and presentation of symptoms (what is getting in the way of learning). Discuss specific accommodations/modifications, practical strategies, and plans. Make sure that supports adequately align with the disability and provide opportunities for growth. Focus on how to build on strengths. Include a reference list on your completed assignment (in text citations are optional but required when using direct quotes).
Make sure to put your responses in your own words as much as possible. Reword ideas so that they represent your own understanding of the ideas. If you are quoting another source use quotations and cite the source.
You can gather information from the class lecture slides/notes, assigned weekly readings, or additional references. Add citations if you are using the assigned readings or additional references. Be creative and have fun with this assignment. You are welcome to add examples to illustrate concepts. You are also welcome to add tables or visuals as supplementary materials (e.g., self-regulation scale) to help explain concepts, but you do not have to.

Topic: Infant Nutrition
Topic: Infant Nutrition
Thesis:
Be aware of the importance of ensuring proper infant nutrition which is fundamental to children and their continued health from birth through adulthood and the need to stop using of market available milk products to feed infants instead of using human milk
Main Point 1: Human milk and its role in providing optimum infant nutrition
Human milk is nature’s extraordinary invention to supply macro-nutrients, micro-nutrients to infants combined with enzymes, hormones, along with several other anti-infective factors, growth factors, stem cells, pre-biotic molecules, and many more components (Gebauer & Thome, 2020). Further, human milk is also preferred as the enteral diet for preterm infants that provides the required amount of nutrients, and bioactive factors which altogether support an infant’s neuro and physical development (Ong & Belfort, 2021).
Main Point 2: Lowers morbidity as well as mortality
Proper feeding in the first three years of a child’s life is highly important as it plays the most crucial role in lowering morbidity as well as mortality. This is because feeding an infant properly in his/her first three years reduces the risk of getting affected with non-curable chronic diseases throughout life (WHO, 2022). Correct infant nutrition promotes a child’s regular physical and mental development and thus, lowers the chances of mental health issues and the rate of child mortality.
Main Point 3: Donkey milk in infant nutrition
Donkey milk plays a significant role in infant nutrition in ancient times. Today, it powerfully comes back as a functional food for infant nutrition because of its ability to boost infants’ immune systems (Bertino et al., 2022).

Artificial Intelligence in the Accounting Industry
The Capstone Project must be related to the student’s field of study, future employment, and/or scholastic goals and is carried out under faculty and/or industry supervision. The capstone project integrates theory and application from across the student’s undergraduate educational experiences and presents an opportunity for the student to demonstrate mastery of curriculum content through a final project. It is the students’ signature statement highlighting the educational training they received. Capstone projects may be displayed in a college fair that is open to employers and the general public.
Students must complete a capstone project which includes a 20-page paper, (including title and reference pages), a 10+ slide PowerPoint Presentation and a 10-15 minute video. Students must submit a proposal to the instructor using the Capstone Proposal Template. The proposal tells the instructor what you plan to research or produce and why, and how you plan to do it. Remember (In addition to submitting the proposal, students are required to submit a final paper and a 10+ slide PPT presentation.
Paper
The final paper should be a minimum of 20 pages:
An introduction that gauges the significance and value of the topic.
A review of the literature pertaining to the topic so it’s clear that you researched existing knowledge (both theoretical and applied) to establish the context in which your paper is situated.
A description of the methods or tools used in conducting your study, the process used to gather and evaluate information, and a narrative documenting the critical decisions made in crafting your argument.
A reporting of results and a summary of the findings of your investigation.
A conclusion that reviews how your paper speaks to the work that has already been done in the field, how it compares to works of others and any recommendations that you feel are needed.
Up to 5 of these pages may include:
Title page
Table of contents
Executive Summary–a description of the topic and its importance, the research question and how you have answered it, and what your results indicate. 250 words or less.
A reference and appendices section citing all of the sources you used in your paper. References and Appendixes may exceed 1 pg and the 5 page total when doing so is a consequence of the volume of either.

Defining and measuring human development
Attempts to define and measure human development
We will start by considering the view of Amartya Sen explained in his book “Development as Freedom”
Amartya Sen is one of the most influential thinkers of the latter half of the 20th Century. His ideas have
had a huge impact on the way the international community thinks about development and approaches
development. In his book “Development as Freedom” he asks the question, what is a developed country? According to Sen, development should be measured by how much freedom a country has since without
freedom people cannot make the choices that allow them to help themselves and others. He defines
freedom as an interdependent bundle of:
1) political freedom and civil rights,
2) economic freedom including opportunities to get credit,
3) social opportunities: arrangements for health care, education, and other social services,
4) transparency guarantees, by which Sen means interactions with others, including the government, are
characterized by a mutual understanding of what is offered and what to expect,
5) protective security, in which Sen includes unemployment benefits, famine and emergency relief, and
general safety nets.
The Human Development Index
The idea of human development is subjective. What one society sees as progress in human development may not be considered progress by others. Equal education for women is not accepted by conservative
Islamic societies. The abolition of capital punishment and guaranteed basic health services, are not
accepted by some developed countries. Quality of life may be far more important than earning more
money e.g. Europeans enjoy longer holidays than Americans.
The Human Development Index (HDI) is an attempt to measure progress in human development. As you go through the steps below, you should note what indicators the Human Development Index uses to
measure progress in human development, what the trends are in these indicators, what factors may make the use of average cash income per capita misleading for poor countries, where the USA ranks overall,
which indicator the USA is weakest in, which country has been most often top in the last few years, and
from which continent do the poorest performing countries come from.
The following link which takes you to the main Human Development Index (HDI) website.
http://hdr.undp.org/en/content/human-development-index-hdi
Here is a summary that highlights the main points being made on this page.
“The HDI was created to emphasize that people and their capabilities should be the ultimate criteria for assessing the development of a country, not economic growth alone…….
The Human Development Index (HDI) is a summary measure of average achievement in key dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable and having a decent standard of living…………..
The health dimension is assessed by life expectancy at birth…………. The education component of the HDI
is measured by mean of years of schooling for adults aged 25 years and expected years of schooling for
children of school entering age……………
The standard of living dimension is measured by gross national income per capita ….…….(but takes into
account) the considerable amount of unmeasured subsistence and nonmarket production in economies
close to the minimum that is not captured in the official data………………”
Now take a look at the latest figures by accessing the following link
http://hdr.undp.org/en/content/table-1-human-development-index-and-its-components
Now you’ll take a look at the trends over the past 10 years. These are taken from the World Bank data site as they produce graphs that make it easier to see the trends.

trends in education and not all countries provide data)
