Find a case study that includes a dilemma.

Step 1: Find a case study that includes a dilemma. You may either find a case study (which includes an ethical dilemma) in the textbook (do not use one we have already discussed), you may use the internet to find an ethical dilemma about which to write (this is easy to do; google: “ethical dilemma and ____topic____ in ____your_field_____” and you will have several dilemmas to pick from in minutes), or you can make up your own scenario that includes an ethical dilemma that will be the center topic of your writing assignment

The paper should be 1,000 words (give or take 100 words). Use 12 pt. font, Times New Roman and use 1 inch margins all around the page. Don’t fill the paper up with fluff. Think the issue through and write a good, strong argument in favor of your positions

Other considerations:
Whatever case you pick, your audience will be your peers in your own field (imagine them in the same business or at least people to whom you will have to defend your decision. So, in that sense, this is an argumentative paper and it should use formal college level language. The defense must have three parts; like any good piece of writing, it must have an introduction (the last sentence of which is your thesis statement), a body (which begins with your argument written in standard form and then explains and defends each premise), and finally a conclusion, which summarizes the entire argument of the paper.
The introduction should include background information on cases like this one and then segue over to your own case. The thesis statement (in this case) will be the conclusion of your argument, with parts of your premises added in for understanding. A thesis statement in general tells the reader the exact argument that she or he will read throughout the entire paper so that nothing in the paper should be a great surprise after the thesis statement (it should be both thorough and concise).
Then include your argument in standard form. The conclusion is your answer to the dilemma and the premises are the statements about the reasons that you have decided upon the conclusion.
In the body of the paper, discuss, defend, and expand upon each of the premises in your argument. If one of your premises is particularly controversial, you might need to add a secondary argument that support the controversial premise. The point is to explain the premises well enough that your reader will agree with your conclusion as well. Try to anticipate objections that your reader (remember this is one of your business peers) might have and address those paving the way for your conclusion to be accepted.
Finally, you must have a conclusion. No new information should be in the conclusion. Rather, it should rehash what you’ve already accomplished in the assignment and the reasons you have done so. The end of the paper should use different phrasing to reaffirm your conclusion.

Self-Assessment:
The self-assessment I chose to discuss was the introvert vs extrovert survey. Extraversion comes from the “Five-Factor Model” which “highlights which Big Five personality factors best predict the three types of task performance” (McShane & Glinow, pg. 49). Extraversion can be described as an assertive and bold personality type, while introversion is the opposite of a more quiet and reserved type. Both are beneficial to business in unique ways (McShane & Glinow, pg. 49). The results of my assessment were that my personality type is “moderate introversion”. I have known my whole life that I tend to lean more toward introversion, but it is interesting to see that I am beginning to fall more toward the middle of the spectrum.
Discussion:
The article I found to discuss is titled “Exploring the role of extrovert-introvert customers’ personality prototype as a driver of customer engagement”. The article strives to prove how being introverted or extroverted toward a customer affects their relationship with the company. Based on the research done by the authors we can determine that these personality types have direct impacts on customer engagement (Itani, Haddad & kalra, 2020).Explain how these factors can impact how people are drawn to your business. For example, maybe it would be a wiser choice to have someone extraverted be answering phone calls or be the first person a customer interacts with in your business, while an introverted person may do better answering emails or handling more serious meetings.
While contemplating what direction I wanted to go for in the biblical integration, I came across 1 Corinthians 12:14 which says, “Now the body is not made up of one part, but of many.” This verse applies in the sense that no matter what someone’s personality type is, introverted or extroverted. There is a use and purpose for everyone whether it be in the business world, or in sharing God’s word.
