Compare and Contrast essay guides by a variety of themes.

I have an upcoming exam that requires 2 essays analysing questions pertaining to 2 classics and 1 Compare and Contrast essay guides by a variety of themes. The books stay the same each yeah so detailed knowledge of them would be a plus. Explain the rationale for choosing a time organization strategy and how it informed your task prioritization.

Estimate your time with a time management calculator then identify and prioritize five tasks to accomplish in a week using a digital calendar to organize them.
Introduction
Students live busy lives with many goals to accomplish, responsibilities to juggle, and tasks to complete each day. Organizing and planning your time makes a big difference in your productivity, or how effective you are at completing your tasks, with everything you likely have going on in your life. Using organization strategies and digital tools, such as online calendars, allows you to access your schedule and make changes easily-no matter where you are.
For this assessment, you’ll continue to develop your digital proficiency and confidence, and you’ll add to your tech toolbox by developing the second skill of this course-organizing, planning, and effectively using digital tools at school, work, and home.
Students often have busy lives, with many goals to accomplish, responsibilities to juggle, and tasks to complete each day. Organizing and planning your time makes a big difference in being productive and meeting deadlines. Organization demonstrates how you have personal responsibility for the various areas and activities in your life, which not only contributes to lower levels of personal stress but also helps to demonstrate to employers that you are trustworthy and responsible. Using organization strategies and digital tools, such as online calendars, allows you to access your schedule and make changes easily-no matter where you are. Overall, the purpose of this assessment is to think about how you use your time and apply strategies to prioritize so that you can find time to get things done so you can succeed personally and professionally.
Assessment Part I: Organize Your Time
Estimate realistic task completion times using a time management calculator. For the purposes of this assessment, use the Time Management Calculator to identify the time you spend (in hours) on each task
Note how the amount of time for tasks was estimated.
Prioritize six tasks split between the areas of academic, career, and personal/family to accomplish in a week. Use MacKay’s blog post “The ‘Everything Is Important’ Paradox: 9 Practical Methods for How to Prioritize Work,” to help you choose a strategy to prioritize the six tasks from 1 to 6.
You are also required to locate an article in the library about time organizing strategies.
Use the Skill Development Tutorials if you need help searching the library.
You may wish to use keywords related to the time organizing strategies from the MacKay blog post to guide your search.
Split these tasks between: Academic, Career, and Personal/Family. You should select two tasks for each of the three categories.
One of your two projected Career tasks is an in-town weekend retreat that your company requires you to attend. This will take up 6 hours on Saturday (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 hours (9 a.m.to 1 p.m.) on Sunday. This may be difficult to add to your calendar since your weekends are generally taken up with other important engagements.
Explain the rationale that was used to determine the priority ranking of the tasks.
Part II: Plan Your Time
Use a calendar to organize tasks by priority. Choose a digital calendar. Consider Google Calendar, the iPhone calendar app, or Microsoft Outlook as options.
For each task identified above, add an appointment. Use the appointment’s start and end times to block time for the task. Watch the video tutorial Using a Digital Calendar for help.
Remember, that your Saturday should include a 6-hour appointment and your Sunday a 4-hour appointment for your in-town work retreat as described above.
Include a detailed screenshot of the week. The screenshot should show:
The weekly view of your calendar-make sure all six tasks are visible. Add the screenshot to your assessment document. Watch the video tutorial Taking Screenshots for help.
Write a reflection piece. Structure the narrative around your aspects of your life and your business priorities. Organization strategies are important and qualify as something that professionals need to do. In your reflection address the following:
Explain the rationale for choosing a time organization strategy and how it informed your task prioritization.
Note which resource informed which aspects of the process.
Describe how the weekend in-town work retreat that you are required to attend impacted your approach to organizing your time.
Note how resources and critical thinking were used to overcome planning challenges related to the required work event
Reflect on you determined the credibility and relevance of your chosen library resource to support your task prioritization.
Note how specific aspects of the assessment were used to determine relevance.
Assessment Requirements
Length: 2-4 double-spaced pages, not including the title page and reference page.
Make sure you are including a proper title page and reference page.
Formatting: Clearly organize and display the information. Make sure screenshots are clear and added to your document.
Written Communication: Convey clear meaning with minimal issues in grammar, usage, word choice, and mechanics.
Note: In addition to the scoring guide, your faculty member may also use the Writing Feedback Tool to provide you with feedback related to your writing.

What are the power strategies used by Western/US negotiators?

Cultural Diversity in International Negotiation
Cultures can have very different approaches to defining and using power. Failure to understand the power strategies of the other culture can lead to stagnant negotiations, frustration, and even complete cessation of talks. Greater understanding of each party’s power strategies can create opportunities for leverage and positive negotiated outcomes.
For the first paragraph of your posting, discuss some of the conflict resolution theories that are available from your course text and other research. The application of conflict resolution theories in intercultural situations is complex. What can we learn from conflict resolution theories for use in multi-cultural negotiation and leadership?

For the second paragraph of your posting, select any one of the following bullet points and address all elements of your chosen bullet point. Select a different bullet point section than what your classmates have already posted so that we can engage several discussions on relevant topics. If all the bullet points have been addressed, then you may begin to re-use the bullet points with the expectation that varied responses continue.
Describe the power strategies of Asian negotiations. The applications of these power strategies include blaming, shaming, face-saving, threats, and acts of ultimatums. Also included are acts and recommendations of power people in places of authority. What are implications of these types of strategies for international negotiations?
What are the power strategies used by Western/US negotiators? How do they differ from power strategies used by Eastern/Asian negotiators?
Evaluate the influence of individualism versus collectivism to the international negotiation process, particularly with respect to use of power and decision making.
How can effective international negotiators and their teams prepare themselves for foreseen power strategies in the international arena? What strategies can international negotiators enable when in environments of hostile power strategies?
Conflict resolution theories can be applied effectively through case studies and simulations (to teach leaders/negotiators how to use them). In addition, ongoing communication through conflict resolution professionals is productive. What other methodologies of conflict resolution training might be effective?
The final paragraph (three or four sentences) of your initial post should summarize the one or two key points that you are making in your initial response.

Do you believe that the more “things” you want and possess in life, the happier you are?

Do you believe that the more “things” you want and possess in life, the happier you are? Have you ever participated in the exercise about being stranded on a deserted island? What would you choose if you were given a list of “things” that you could have but you were only allowed to choose a limited few to survive? This is an exercise in determining what is truly “necessary” for human survival. What remains is what humans “want” to have or would like to have for whatever reason.
The following assignment explores consumerism on a basic product or item level and its’ connection to human population growth and each of our ecological footprints. It can make you aware of personal consumption and how human behavior must change if the human population growth rate is to be reduced thereby shrinking our ecological footprints and conserving natural capital.
PART 1
Choose 2 products or items that you might find in a home or office. The products should be produced, sold and used in the United States or in a relatively affluent country. One product or item will be a simple mechanical and/or electrical device. The other product or item will NOT be mechanical or electrical. Keep it simple for example, a toaster or an automobile, and a plastic bottle or a basketball hoop.
Research each product or item production, manufacture, growth or whatever process is used to make the product or item available for use. Consider in your research the cradle to grave lifespan of the product or item.
For each of the two products or items, answer the following questions and provide the requested information:
Is this a product or item necessary for human survival?
What are the raw materials, chemicals, energy, etc. used to make the product and become part of the product or item?
Is the product made from a renewable resource (ex. A tree) or a limited resource (ex. Oil)?
Can the product and/or materials be recycled or reused and how?
Is there any other method for reducing the materials, chemicals, energy, etc. used to make the product?
Is there any alternative products or substitution for the product?
Describe how the product gets from raw materials to production, manufacture, growth, etc. to the store and then to your home. What is the transportation, energy use?
How is the product or item disposed of or how would it be disposed of? (even if it can be partially recycled or reused)
Does it decompose to basic elements, nutrients if placed in a landfill? If yes, then how long does decomposition take?
List all the negative environmental impacts of production, use and disposal of the product or item.
Would you expect the production of the product or item to most likely increase as the human population increases? If yes, then what impact would you expect on the size of each person’s ecological footprint? (note: keep in mind the product or item production, sale and use is in the United States, a relatively affluent country)
PART 2
Write an essay that explains the environmental connections and relationship(s) among the following three topics:
Human Population Growth
Affluent Consumption
Ecological Footprint
The Essay submitted as a Word document attached to the assignment tool. Your total write-up and explanation should be at least two pages with at least one page of the environmental connections and relationship(s) among the above three topics. The Essay should include the following:
Answer all 11 questions from Part 1.
In Part 2, provide the reference of your essay writing using APA style.
Give your creative ideas on how these articles tie into the material we are covering in class this module. See the syllabus for the assignment due date.
