As one of my comments notes: show, don’t tell. We, as readers, need examples and explanations to understand that with which we’re unfamiliar.” Attached is my first essay that I submitted, and the rhetoric for the second and third essay. These are the instructions from the instructor to essay one just incase you need it. “Basically, your task is to demonstrate an understanding of the ideas in the readings as they relate to a topic of your choice. So, while we play with SmartBoards and iPads in class, we think we’re a part of progress when, actually, we are submitting to a mechanized world built for profit instead of betterment. That would be my thesis and then I would go about finding additional sources to support my argument.”
