Estate planning

M‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌innie is the owner of a small business that she operates as a sole proprietorship, selling various Disney collectibles and related items on ebay. Minnie is married to Mickey, and also has several minor children (including Nancy, Nadine, and Nicki). Annual sales for her business are approximately $100,000 per year, and she maintains around $25,000 of inventory, along with a business banking account for ebay transactions and business expenses related to listing and advertising items. What are‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ some estate planning tools that Minnie could use to ensure that her business can pass to her children and also that the business can continue to operate after her passing? Your initial response should be approximately 250 words, and should reference the assigned reading or materials for this week. Once you have posted an initial response, review and respond to other students in the discussion by the due date for this assignment.

We experienced an increase in acute hospitalizations with this population, and we devised a plan to employ the support of their families to help us with this concern. The goal was to educate the family and caregivers on the importance of medication adherence to decrease acute hospitalizations and psychotic episodes. We use information systems such as computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems and electronic prescriptions to reduce errors and increase service quality (Hikmet et al., 2012). Electronic transfer of the medicines is sent to the pharmacies to assure that the medication is taken to the pharmacy and is available for the patients. Information systems and technology can improve productivity in healthcare by improving business operations and patient outcomes (Hikmet et al., 2012). The data collected as an outcome measure was the frequency of how many times medications are missed, the percentage of patients who have family/social support to assist with medication compliance, and the percentage of patients who desire to change their medication habits. Lack of social support and a patients’ behavior is associated with poor adherence to psychotropic medications. The brief adherence rating scale (BARS) is the scale used to measure medication adherence. Recent studies of people with schizophrenia report a consistent low adherence rate to antipsychotics (Rodriguez, 2019). There is a non-adherence rate of % in % of the schizophrenic population (Rodriguez, 2019). The benchmark of our project was to set a goal for an improvement of medication adherence by 10% above their baseline rate. Patients have reported in a recent study that poor adherence is due to adverse side effects, lack of social support, and substance abuse. Some ways to improve medication compliance are providing concrete instructions and problem-solving strategies using reminders and reinforcement (Rodriguez, 2019). Unfortunately, we didn’t achieve our goal for the project as the patients did not cooperate with their families and caregivers. Information systems such as the internet, computers, videos, and mobile devices play a significant role in data collection. A web-based application can access hundreds of data pages at a time (Rothert et al., 2006). Information systems offer the organization a way to store and use the information to influence decision-making. Information systems provide communication, better record-keeping, and efficient operations management. Some of the costs associated with data collection are the price of personnel staffing, the cost of implementation of the project, maintenance costs, equipment costs, and fees (West et al., 2011). The connection between information systems, data collection, quality improvement, regulation and reimbursement, accreditation, and financial management are interrelated. The common denominator is to provide quality patient care. A facility that has the approval of the Joint Commission is the stamp of a facility’s commitment to quality care (Joint Commission, 2022). All of the systems should be in sync with one another to benefit the patient’s goal of the assumption of safe and quality care to decrease the risk of hospitalizations that will help lower the costs of the facilities providing the care. Give a brief synopsis of the project. The outpatient behavioral health clinic where I practice introduced a pilot telehealth service project due to the current COVID-19 pandemic to reduce the risks of exposure to the coronavirus for both patients and healthcare providers and improve patient care access. This advanced technology has promoted the delivery of healthcare services, such as initial consultations and follow-up appointments. Telehealth focuses on the utilization of information and communication technologies in the provision of patient care services remotely and shifts care from traditional in-person services to secured remote audiovisual telecommunications between the patient and the provider (Koivunen and Saranto, 2‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌018). 2. Define what type of data was collected as an outcome measure. The data collected from chart reviews and used as outcome measures included the status of a mental health condition, such as whether or not it was in remission, whether or not it had relapsed, whether or not it had completed follow-up and appointments, and whether or not it had adhered to medication regimens. 3. Identify the established benchmarks the project was aiming to achieve. When comparing in-person visits at the clinics with telemedicine appointments, the benchmark established for the pilot telehealth initiative was a 20% increase in attendance for appointments. 4. Discuss the role of information systems in the data collection process. EPIC is the institution’s electronic health record (EHR) information system software. When compared to paper records, the use of information technologies in the data collecting process helps eliminate errors and enables better access, storage, and retrieval of clinical data (Sewell, 2019). This technique eliminates the need for time-consuming documentation, file loss, eligibility issues, and storage challenges. The standardized languages and efficient methods employed in EHR improve the nursing documentation process and workflow, allowing healthcare providers to make more efficient and productive use of their time (Menachemi & Collum, 2011). 5. Identify all the potential costs associated with data collection. The data collection process incurs a number of expenses. To begin, there are fixed costs associated with acquiring the necessary databases. This is determined by the amount of data that the organization wishes to collect. It is also necessary to consider the hardware and software that may be required at data collection points. Scanners and fingerprint sensors are examples of such features. The potential costs of data collection included the upkeep of the electronic health records system and the purchase of audiovisual equipment such as telephones and video devices. Providers were also taught how to conduct telehealth sessions with patients. 6. Describe the connection between information systems, data collection, quality improvement, regulatory and reimbursement issues, accreditation, and financial management. In this day and age of technological advancement, it is critical for nurses to use their relevant information technology expertise to provide quality healthcare services and improve patient health outcomes. Informatics is the use of computers and other electronic devices to manage healthcare information using information technology systems, clinical skills, and intellectual abilities. The goal of healthcare informatics is to improve the use of data to support decision-making, patient care services, training, and research (Sewell, 2019). Using EHR to collect and maintain data has enhanced the quality of healthcare services and patient outcomes. The use of EHR focuses on patient safety, effectiveness, and efficiency. The usage of EHR has been linked to better evidence-based practice and patient care. Informed patient care decisions, fewer errors, and more efficient and safe patient care are all benefits of EHR clinical decision support systems. Demographic data can be found in EHRs. Vital signs, diagnosis, therapy, and medication history enable physicians to build links between patients, risk factors, diseases, and treatment outcomes (Weiner, Lyman, Murphy, & Weiner, 2007). According to Sewell (2019), EHR use can improve patient care, service coordination, and health outcomes. Accreditation agencies give critical information about the quality of healthcare services supplied. Such information enables patients to compare and select service providers. Payers also utilize accreditation information to determine eligibility for payment (Harris, Roussel, Dearman, & Thomas, 2020). Financial management in a healthcare facility is critical for maintaining operational functions and providing cost-effective quality care to patients. Not all health insurance companies reimburse providers and institutions for specific services, which may limit or deny patients access to needed healthcare. The interconnection of information systems, data collection, quality improvement, regulatory and reimbursement issues, accreditation, and financial management contributes to the improvement of healthcare services and the optimization of patient treatment outcomes (Koivunen and Saranto, 2018). Introduction to Humanities

I‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌nstructions Plays are meant to be performed, rather than read. The purpose of dramatic arts often extends far beyond the words written on a page; staging, lighting, costumes intonation, expression, and audience experience are all part of the experience of a theatrical production. To develop your understanding of the cultural role of the dramatic arts, you will view a production of a play this week and write a reflection to explain your viewing experience. Choose a play that you would like to view and find a version online, YouTube, DVD or iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, etc. You can also choose to see a play live if you prefer. Play Suggestions: A Midsummer Night’s Dream Romeo and Juliet As You Like It Taming of the Shrew The Tempest Much Ado About Nothing The Comedy ‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌of Errors Macbeth King Lear If you have another idea, please ask your instructor to approve it. * Write an analysis of the play that you viewed. Include at least one quote from the play in your essay. In your essay, address the following: Identify the performance that you have selected. Describe the staging, lighting, costumes, and characters of the performance. How do these match or revise the written version of the play? You do not need to read the entire play, but you should skim the text. What type of mood and tone does the performance create? How? What parts of the play are easier to understand through performance? What are some details that stood out through performance? What are your feelings about this performance? What did you take away from viewing it‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌?

Chapter 4 – What are the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Motivation towards Social Interactions and Relationships of Young ESL Students aged 5 to 18?

H‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ello Writer, As you may remember, here is my research question: What are the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Motivation towards Social Interactions and Relationships of Young ESL Students aged 5 to 18? I am back for my next order, this time it is going to be about Chapter 4. Results and analysis of my dissertation. I received some information from my lecturer/dissertation supervisor, and he is saying the following: “Hi Edvard Thanks for sending this. I would like to see the finished chapter before I send you any feedback. For now, I can tell you the following: – When presenting the results in tables, graphs etc you do not need to be writing many details because the tables themselves show the results already. – Remember that after presenting the results, the most important thing is to analyse them and to interpret them, linking them also with results of other studies from the literature; in short to be providing critical comments about what the results mean, this is what the markers will be looking for. Kind regards [lecturer]” Please find the following documents in the attachment: – 01 DISS – Chapter 4 started – Results and Analysis – 5000w – USE this document to start with. Please use what is already written. In some places you may want to edit them as my dissertation supervisor requests it a‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌bove. Keep adding your information to it. As you can see, I have already started working on it. – 02 Questionnaire questions = QUE – 22 Qs finalised – For your information – 03 Interview questions = Sample Follow-up interview Qs – For your information – 04 Useful phrases from the Academic Phrasebank 2018 – This is because you may want to use some useful sentence structures. I have been using these as well. – CHAPTER 2 + References at the end – You may use some of these articles to link my results to other studies. – CHAPTER 3 + References at the end – You may use some of these articles to link my results to other studies. – Tomorrow (23 March) I will send you some of my participants’ transcripts that you will include some of it in Chapter 4 as well. – Please add the references you will be using at the end of Chapter 4. Also, please highlight your added work in yellow if you may. That way it would make my life easier what will have been added and/or changed. You may need some more articles. If so, they have to be from the last 10 years, so 2012 onwards. It is also important that my research has to be related to ESL Young Learners 5- to 18-year-olds. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send me a message. Many thanks for your hard work in advance. Looking forward for the next great work from you‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌. Regards, Edvard

mental health clinical logs

I‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ need to do 24 clinical logs. They do not need references. The logs should include the following: Date, patient, age, gender, race, time spent with patient. Diagnosis/Reason for Visit (1-2 brief paragraphs) Chief Complaint/ Reason for Visit Hx of Present Illness – Provide enough information that you can convey the complexity and scope of the problem. Note any significant pre-existing or concomitant clinical signs and symptomology. Focused Diagnosis/Assessment Focused Plan (must include diagnostic tests, medication dosages, psychotherapeutic interventions, referrals, etc.) This is a sample of how the log should be written. A.H. is a 28-year-old Caucasian female who was evaluated for the first time for complaints of hypersomnia and severe fatigue beginning four months ago. She appears disheveled in a t-shirt and sweatpants with stains. Her hygiene is poor, and she has an unpleasant body odor. There is no eye contact during the interview and she is shy and withdrawn. She answers questions appropriately with flat affect. She stated, “I’m stressed out by my family, and I want to sleep all the time.” She has been sleeping between 10-14 hours a day. Her symptoms have gradually ‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌worsened after losing her job as an accountant when the pandemic began. She has been experiencing severe fatigue and is unable to cook meals and clean her home. She reports not wanting to leave her home anymore because “it’s just not worth the effort.” She has no motivation to look for a job. “I’m really stressed about money and paying my rent.” She reports that her family tells her to “just get over it and move on,” which makes her feel guilty and even more isolated. She reports feelings of loneliness, worthlessness, and has low self-esteem. The only activity that relieves her symptoms is sleep. She states that she has considered suicide but cannot do that to her family. She denies previous psychiatric diagnoses. She is not married and denies substance use, smoking, and alcohol consumption. Denies hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia. Screening Tests: PHQ-9 Depression Questionnaire: Scored 19—moderately severe depression Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT): Scored 0. Diagnosis: Major Depressive Disorder Treatment: Paroxetine 20 mg PO Qam Therapy: Referred for individual and group cognitive-behavioral therapy. Follow-Up: 4 weeks for clinical monitorin‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌g and medication management

COMPARE DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA AND AUSTRALIA: STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

In this essay you will be comparing democratic government in Australia and the United States. In addition to identifying differences between democratic government in the two countries, you will be evaluating these differences.

You will identify at least one strength of American democracy relative to Australian democracy, and at least one strength of Australian democracy relative to American democracy. If you want, you can identify more than one strength for each, but you need at least one for each.

In each discussion of these relative strengths, you must explain why a particular feature of one country’s democratic government is, in your view, better than what the other country has. It is up to you to decide what is “better”, but you have to rigorously explain your choice. You might like the way that American Presidents have term limits (i.e. they can only serve eight years at the most). You might like the fact that voting is compulsory in Australia. Or you might see either of these things as weaknesses, and prefer the opposite arrangement in the other country. Whatever you prefer, you have to explain why it is better, using examples and data where possible. Remember you have to find a relative strength for each country!

Throughout, you should think about what is good for democracy. This isn’t always easy, because there are a lot of different views of what democracy is, or should be.

WHAT THIS ESSAY SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

Introductory paragraph (100-200 words) explaining briefly what things democratic governments should do
Section on a strength of American democracy relative to Australian democracy (300-400 words)
Section on a strength of Australian democracy relative to American democracy (300-400 words) These sections do not have to be in that order.
Conclusion (100-200 words)

Reference all scholar and non scholar articles( there must be at least 1 of both)

Remote Access Security Plan and Documentation

You have been working as a technology associate in the information systems department at Corporation Techs for more than two months now. Corporation Techs’ information technology (IT) department is setting up a new network in a remote office for an engineering firm. The network requires several groups: Project Management, Engineering, Drafting, and Architecture. The office is being set up near the project site and therefore, is separate from the main office. Further, several key employees will need access to the main office and remote office computer services. A network security and Virtual Private Network (VPN) plan is needed to connect it all together.

The network should segment for the four major groups with VPN access allowed by specific remote workers into each group.
