Mascot images

After reviewing the website and watching the video “Ending the Era of Harmful ‘Indian’ Mascots” by the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), comment on whether team mascots, such as “Redskins” or “Chiefs” or “Fighting Irish” or “Lady Jays” are real issues, or should offended people “just get over it.” Do these mascot images reinforce the stereotypical images of Native Americans, the Irish, and females? If so, how?

NUR4636C- Unit 4 Lesson 3 Assignment 2- Settings for Community/ Public Health Nursing

Develop at 12-15 slide PowerPoint Presentation using the PowerPoint rubric. Include the following details below.

Assignment 1. Pick a setting (public, private, home health or hospice) you would like to explore, discuss your interests.
2. What questions do you have regarding the setting?
3. Utilize evidence-based practice to answer your questions and explain the setting.
4. What skills/experience do you have to work in the setting?
5. What challenges do you expect in this setting?

What challenges do digital media pose to democracy?

This assessment is designed to test your understanding of the theoretical
approaches to the study of democratisation, regime change and regime classification
in political science, and of the applied dimension of empirical studies on the subject
(analysis of case studies, individual or a set of countries in a comparative
perspective). This assessment invites you to move between these dimensions and
draw material from the key theories and thinkers engaged and/or relevant case
studies.
In order to fulfil the basic requirements of this assessment, you must:
Address the question
This can either mean answering ‘yes’ or ‘no’, or ‘yes, but’ or ‘no, but’, and giving a full
and cogently argued explanation, or it can mean ‘questioning the question’, i.e.,
problematizing the assumptions that the question contains. All of these options
address the question, and can act as the overarching framework of a good essay.
Taking time to contextualise the question in your preparation and to identify the
debates from which it originates is a good preparatory work to ensure you
understand the question correctly.
Put forward an argument
You must have one clear line of argument that is (a) stated in the introduction, (b)
supported throughout the essay, (c) restated in the conclusion and (d) written in clear
and technically proficient English. You should then use the main body of the essay to
back up your claims, and end by summing up how the points you have made back
up what you have tried to show in your essay.
Compare thinkers/theories and draw conclusions
In this essay, you are being asked to evaluate the arguments of different authors
and/or theories that define the study of regime transition and regime typology – or
characteristics of specific types of regime and their evolution.

Discussion Reply: RAM Troubleshooting

Please reply to the following discussion:
Having worked in the IT field, I have often watched a shift lead fix this issue. When a client reaches out with their tech having the symptoms listed above, we typically look for the RAM stick to see what is happening. Comparing how the stick presents itself typically indicates how it was installed. We typically run the tech through Systems Windows to see exactly how much RAM is being installed. Unfortunately, I have not gotten to perform this task. Then next, we typically shut off the pc to check the memory sticks. Then it is time to get hands-on. The cover of the PC will need to be removed so the motherboard is exposed so the RAM sticks can be taken out. Now after each stick has been reseated, that should take care of most of the problem, but just to be safe, there are a couple more steps. If the PC is not booting back up, then asses how the sticks are seated now. Take them back out and apply them again. This should allow the PC to come back up. Run the test through Windows Systems once more. Typically at this point, it passed off to someone to repeat all steps to double-check the work. At the point of the diagnosis, whoever has the PC will replace the RAM stick and turn it back on and mess around with the PC for a couple of hours to see if it runs smoothly as it should.
This week let’s remember that God is like the hand that works on the PC (we are the PC). He takes us apart, analyses what is wrong, and allows us to fail multiple times to get back up the next turn and prosper. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9 ESV)

Original Discussion:
A user complains that her computer is responding very slowly. She also says that when booting the PC, it reports a lower value for memory than she assumed is available. You investigate and consider the idea that one of the RAM sticks in her PC may have become unseated. Detail the steps you would take to determine how to diagnose and reseat the RAM.A user complains that her computer is responding very slowly. Analyzing Russian Ukraine war

*I uploded 4 files in numbers:
1- instructions how to do the Assessment.
2- High Grade Assessment Example.
3- presentation to understand the subject.
4- book chapters which you will use for your analyzing (this is the only sources that u need to use).

*follow the High Grade Assessment Example, but its ok if you reduce the amount of analyzing in the table which the high grade student’s did, but u provide a good amount of hypothesis also.

Personal care product

Overview
In this assignment, you will pick a personal care product to research, and prepare a graphic/poster (if you are graphically oriented) or an article (if you are text oriented) to teach others how it works at a chemical and personal level.

As samples, I have included two approaches to teaching the chemistry of UV/LED-cured gel manicures. They are very different, but both give you a sense of the level of detail I’m hoping for in a full-point assignment! Please note: if you wanted to do gel manicures, you’ll need to take a different approach than these two examples. There are still a lot of avenues, talk to me about it.

Objectives:
Learn more about the science of a personal care product you use or are interested in
Put together a presentation (either graphical/poster format or article) teaching about this that you would be proud of sharing with a friend or family member… or your prof.
Directions:

Research a personal care product that you are interested in. Some examples may include sunscreens (mineral, chemical, or both), shampoos and/or conditioners, skin lotions, eye shadow, chemical approaches for permanent hair curls or straightening, hair sprays/gels/etc, tooth whiteners, mouthwash, shaving cream, chemical depilatories, or any other personal care product.
If you have a household product you’d REALLY like to research instead, email me through Carmen to ask – I might approve it, if it is sufficiently interesting. In the email make sure to tell me what you’d like to research, and why you’d like to research that rather than a personal care product.
Use multiple sources. You will typically need to look at several to pick a few that are accurate. Check back against your common sense and your textbook to make sure that the chemistry claims are accurate.
Be careful while reading to make sure you are distinguishing science/chemistry from advertising copy. Be critical – remember your chapter 1.10 FLaReS framework, look for multiple sources, and don’t take advertising claims at face value. For example, in gel manicures, companies distinguish between “UV” and “LED” cured polishes… but the LED lamps still put out UV-A light. They’re not actually that different.
Think about how you can best communicate your topic. Your audience is other undergraduate students who may be interested in learning how your chosen product _really_ works. Make yourself an expert!
If you have an idea for an alternate creative presentation, check with me first to make sure it will be ok.
Your final product should be converted to a pdf that you can upload to Carmen. Please make sure that it is readable in its final form! If it can’t be read, it is not good communication.
Things to Include:
Title
At least 3 figures that help to illustrate your topic. You can use images from the web, as long as they are fair use and properly attributed (photo attributions do not count as part of your research references). You can also draw your own figures if you’d like.
Any background information required to understand your product. For example, a product used on hair or skin may require an introduction. A product meant to solve a particular problem may require an introduction.
Appropriate history of your product (this may be brief or more extensive depending on your approach – see for example the infographic where history is scattered through the text)
How your product works at a chemical level. Remember this is a chemistry class! Make sure you are taking a technical approach, rather than solely a user-approach. This is the major part of your presentation!
Pros and cons for your product, as appropriate.
Some kind of comparison. This may be between similar types of the same product, or between a product and a competitor, or a sense of variation of the types of product on the market… Help us position this in the world!
Any health and safety or environmental warnings that would be appropriate for your product. This can also be a place to discuss any controversies or debates surrounding your product.
Your references. You should have at least 3 references, NOT including your photo attributions. One of these references can be your textbook, if appropriate.
