Discuss your greatest takeaways from this course. What were some “ah-ha!” moments that arose? Is there anything that challenged your own personal views or opinions? Why were these topics important to discuss, even if they were difficult to do so? How can you use what you have learned in your own practice as a future educator?

Your initial post is due Wednesday of this week and then you must participate a minimum of two other times by Sunday (not all on Sunday, though!). This is the individual final assignment for this course, and in writing the assignment you will need to consider the most relevant concepts that will assist you in a practical change activity.
Your Tasks
For this assignment, you are asked to:
1. Consider an area that you believe would benefit from a change with reference to a familiar organisation and your role or area of influence within it.
2. Propose a plan for this change along with a supporting rationale, taking into account the needs of the various stakeholders, the potential of success as well as the possibility of resistance along with other potential factors (you do not need to address all of these, they are areas to consider) such as:
· What is the key focal issue of the change
· What is the nature and scope of the change – what level of the organisation is it directed to?
· Who will be affected by the change, how might they react, and what emotional support would you provide?
· What will be your approach or style of intervention?
· How will you communicate the change and how?
· What values, beliefs, and behaviours are you targeting?
· What is the time line for the change?
· How will it be reinforced?
Note that the Consulcube discussed during the course may be a useful tool in evaluating the above factors. This is suggested primarily as a means of structuring your change plan, though it is not a requirement. During this course we have examined a range of topics in relation to managing change. In writing this assignment, you will need to consider which topics that we discussed throughout the course as well as any additional evidence would be useful in helping you to come up with a proposal for a change initiative in a familiar organisation. Although there will be a number of relevant topics, avoid overloading the assignment with too many concepts or theories. Instead, use those you consider most appropriate – suggest that you start out with the issue you will be discussing and then chose relevant theories and concepts. Additionally, be sure to use the correct citation style and use of the literature throughout. The inclusion of two to three visuals to supplement the discussion would be useful.
If you chose to use reflective activities that you wrote throughout the module, then you will need to reference them as evidence. It could be stated something like this within the text: ‘as evidenced in the unit two reflective activity (appendix 1) it can be seen that…’

Journal Instructions:
Take your time reading the articles/book chapters. After reading the article and taking good notes so that you have thought about the material, you are ready to write your Journal entry. Summarize the author’s thesis—what was this reading really about, in a nutshell? What are some of the main points in support of his/her argument? Paraphrase rather than quote—use your own words. S- Statement. The Beginning statement will be listed in the Syllabus and in the Canvas Assignment. You will find it listed on the day it’s due. You should be looking ahead to ensure you know what is due and that have the assignment completed on time. It is expected that you can complete the statement listed in the syllabus. You can complete each statement in one to two sentences.

E- Elaboration. The Elaboration section should begin with IN OTHER WORDS. This section should be five to seven sentences long. In this section, you should explain and justify your choice for statement completion.

E-Example. The example section should begin with FOR EXAMPLE. This section is also five to seven sentences long. In this section, you should provide an example of the phenomenon you are explaining in your assignment.
