As far as the sources go, there are two books that are required that I need information from on my paper. One is “The End of Policing” by Alex Vitale. The other is “Lockdown High: When the Schoolhouse Becomes a Jailhouse” by Annette Fuentes. Of course you can use as many other sources that you need, but those two books are required

You can evaluate all of the following: race, gender, education level, income level, where do they live (urban vs rural). What motivates them?
It’s critical that you understand all the factors that make a customer a good candidate to buy your product. Pick one of the following products to conduct your own analysis.

You can evaluate all of the following: race, gender, education level, income level, where do they live (urban vs rural). What motivates them? How many kids do you think they have? You want to figure out the perfect customer and tell me why these factors might influence them to purchase the product.
Now come up with a brief marketing pitch of 2–3 sentences trying to persuade the target customer why your chosen product is perfect for him/her. Discuss why you think this marketing message is the correct message for your specified target market.

coding systems
Assigning Codes Based on a Given Scenario
Explain the ICD-10-PCS coding system and describe its components, including its structure. How is the information presented? How does the process work, and how is the coding system used to determine codes? Discuss how the correct assignment of the ICD-10-PCS codes is important for maximum insurance reimbursement.
Next, choose two root operations and define them. After defining the root operations, provide an example of a procedure that might be assigned a code with each of those root operations (total of two examples, one for each root operation).
The final step in this assignment is to code for the following scenario using the ICD-10-PCS codebook:
A woman has come into the physician’s office for a routine pap smear. She is informed that she will need to be admitted for an emergency abdominal hysterectomy with removal of tubes and ovaries due to cancer.
When coding for the procedure, provide the code that was obtained from the codebook along with a description, and list your steps for finding the code.
Your completed assignment must be at least two pages in length. A minimum of three sources is required for this assignment; two can be the course textbook and the course codebook, but at least one source must come from the CSU Online Library as well. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.

understanding on how to create effective responses to change. Participants are NOT expected to summarize the article and books but instead use the key ideas and
concepts, and present a critical discussion on how they would respond to an ‘iceberg’ that they have
identified in their workplace. They are expected to (1) question the concepts in the article and texts (2)
discuss how they can and/or cannot apply these concepts to the ‘iceberg’ that they have identified in
their workplace (3) show how they could respond to it and (4) identify possible strategies that could
help their colleagues see the importance of responding to this ‘iceberg’. Some questions to consider:
*NOTE: You are expected to be ethical in any discussion of workplaces and life settings
1. Describe your ‘iceberg’ in your workplace and its current situation. 2. What were your first responses/reactions and coping strategies in view of this ‘iceberg’? 3. How is this ‘iceberg’ connected or disconnected to student-centered learning? 4. Using what you have read from the texts, how would you respond differently?

5. List possible strategies that you would adopt to help colleagues see the importance of
responding to this ‘iceberg’. Explain your choices. 6. Referring to the LQS, identify the competencies and indicators that you would meet based on
your chosen strategies.

How do you see self-fulfilling prophecy and learned helplessness portrayed in this video?
Overview
Jean Piaget’s theory of cognitive development suggests that children move through four different stages of mental development, including sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete operational, and formal operational.
Watch the video A Class Divided (Links to an external site.) (53:05). This video portrays the story of a third grade classroom in a small, all-white Iowa town. The day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed, Jane Elliot, the teacher, divided her thrid-grade class into blue-eyed and brown-eyed groups and gave them a lesson on discrimination. This lesson portrays the lasting impact it had on the children 30 years later.
As you watch the video, consider what stage of Piaget’s developmental theory the children are in, and if this is a good way to teach children of this age group.
Write a 3–4 page paper discussing the stage of Piaget’s development the children in the video are in and provide evidence to support your answer.
Address the following questions in your paper:
How do you see self-fulfilling prophecy and learned helplessness portrayed in this video?
How was the self-esteem of the children affected by participating in this study?
Why do you think the children’s test scores rose after participating in this experiment?
How can you use Piaget’s theory and Kohlberg’s theory to explain the adult and children’s behavior during this study?
Which theory (theories) of personality can help us understand the students’ behavior in this video? Find at least one resource to support your answer.
Your paper should use APA (7th ed.) citations and format and include a title page and a reference page.

Submission and Assessment Guidelines
Submit your Microsoft Word document with the questions clearly listed and answered. All of the questions MUST be answered in your document. I recommend doing headings instead, like “Personality Theories,” rather than copying/pasting the questions. You can also skip headings altogether and just write paragraphs that answer the bullet points. Just be sure to answer ALL main bullet points, sub-bullet points, and be sure that it is clear that you are answering them in your paper (i.e. when discussing learned helplessness, self-fulfilling prophecy, self-esteem, etc., mention those identifying words in your paragraphs)
Map with polygon and written description of location. Brief general site description. Describe the ecosystem in terms of plants, climate, soils, and land use.
You will soon be assigned to complete a visit to a site of your choosing as a field lab. That field lab will look at aspects of the 5 ecosystem components we have been studying: plants, water, minerals, soil and animals. The main objective of the lab will be to collect information (observational and empirical), and use it to make connections among the components of the field site.
Any field study begins with collecting existing information and data to get the “lay of the land” so to speak. This week’s lab will guide you in doing this.
1. Bird’s Eye View: Using Google Earth, maps, or ArcGIS, you will print out a map with a site area polygon clearly defined.
2. Climate: Using a climate data source such as PRISM to an external site., determine the average monthly precipitation and temperature and plot them on a graph.
3. Soil Information: Using Web Soil Survey (Links to an external site.) you will gather maps and associated information for the following:
for the 3 most dominant soil types: % clay; % sand; % silt; % organic matter [submission: maps and table]
determine areas of highest water storage and cation exchange capacity [submission: maps and list of areas/soil types with highest]
Report Submission
Summarize in report format the information gathered. Here is a report outline to guide you.
1. Cover page stating “RNG121 Field Lab Prep: Field Site location, Climate and Key Soil Properties”. Your name and date should be included.
2. Table of Contents
3. Sections:
location and general description: Map with polygon and written description of location. Brief general site description. Describe the ecosystem in terms of plants, climate, soils, and land use.
climate: data table and graph from Excel. Brief summary of what the graph is conveying.
physical soil properties: for each soil property include the map and brief summary of required associated information:
for the 3 most dominant soil types: % clay; % sand; % silt; % organic matter [submission: maps and table]
determine areas of highest water storage and cation exchange capacity [submission: maps and list of areas/soil types with highest]
4. Works Cited: Make sure to at least cite the mapping app, climate source, and Web Soil Survey.
