In this course, you will imagine yourself in the role of a manager and use resources to make decisions on where an organization is going in respect to business needs, organizational structure, leadership strategies, and change management. Some of the information needed may be easy to locate, but other information may take time and effort to find. To determine some information, you may even need make assumptions based on research. These research and strategizing skills will be useful in your business management career.

Preparation
Access Business Source Complete: SWOT Analyses and Gale Business: Insights – SWOT Reports from the Wk 1 University Library.

Using those databases, select 1 global organization that you’ll use throughout this course and review its SWOT analysis to learn about its history. This will help you prepare for your Wk 2 Summative Assessment: Business Administration Organizational Proposal.

Notes:
Some annual reports are more recent than others. Ensure you find a company with a recent report from within the last 2 years.
Although you may have worked with a selected organization and its information in other courses, please select a new organization for use in this course and do not integrate previously used content from other courses into your work in MGT/526.

DIRECTIONS: Write a composition (between 150 and 200 words) in Spanish describing your home and the members of your family. In this composition, you will do the following:

Use a form of introduction indicating where you live and with whom.
For example, I live in New York City with my parents / my girlfriend and two cats / my roommates.
Describe the members of your family using possessive adjectives, the verbs ser and estar with adjectives, and other verbs in the present tense.

B. Tips for Success
Remember to use gender and number agreement between nouns, determiners, and adjectives. Be sure that you have subject-verb agreement, also.
Use vocabulary and grammar studied in the units you have completed so far. You can use the verbs ser and estar with adjectives to describe people’s (and pets’) personalities and physical traits. You can also use the verb tener, verbs in the present tense, quantifiers, possessive adjectives, expressions with tener que, prepositions, the verb ir, university subjects, and food and meals.
Review your composition before you submit it to ensure that your composition flows and you can understand the language. Revise the language as needed before submitting, and don’t forget to use conjunctions to make your message flow better.
Use paragraphs to organize your ideas.
Remember that Spanish uses stress marks (accent marks) on some words. Review the rules for accent mark placement in Spanish and learn how to use your keyboard so you can type Spanish special characters, since this is part of learning the language.

Create a solution
In our Required Learning Resources and in the assigned Gateway into Drama and Theater Resource this week, we read and watched resources that deal with the ways people are viewed in the world and how stories shape our perceptions of self and others. We also learned about how theatrical styles and traditions emerged from ritual, as well as how theatre and performance are shaped by authors, artists, audience, and the spaces in which they occur. Throughout our resources, we have seen that theatre and performance often offer commentary on how we live and issues that those creating and performing see around them — the things they want to change. As the famous theatre artist Bertolt Brecht wrote, “Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it.” In this post, identify an issue in the world around you that you want to solve on a personal, local, or global scale. Describe a piece of theatre/performance that you would create to address that problem.

Note: Don’t worry about budget or scale. The sky and your imagination are the limits here.
