Global Devrlopment Program

Assignment 2: Develop a Global Development Program (35 points)

The rubric for this assignment is located in the Canvas course under the modules link as well as below.

This Global Development Program will have a template as I want to read how you would create a program for your organization if you were the top administrator/leader. Please refer to our course textbook regarding many topics for you to include in your paper. I would begin by reading Chapter 8 as it contains program design content examples and many illustrations of top leadership theorists.

The entire book can help you with YOUR program; no need to cover everything, just what you think is a priority for a startup program; not a startup company. You can always add to it as you progress as a leader. I hope you can take this assignment and use it in the real world. This is like the first assignment as a portfolio or program has a continual need to be revised. This assignment must be 7 FULL pages of content.

In Chapter 5 of the Gundling, Hogan, and Cvitkovich book, review the information under “Expand Ownership” as it pertains to a domestic enterprise, an international company, and the evolution of a global company. Explain in your Global Development Program, how you would take a company from a local market and expand it to a global market. You must have a one-paragraph introduction regarding this information and your thoughts for the need to have knowledge and skills to create a startup program.

Be very creative using the textbook information as well as 10 outside scholarly resources (2017 to present) to support and SYNTHESIZE your viewpoints and to create this program as I have listed some topics to help you critically think in its design.

Please refer to The Art of Synthesizing: A Masterpiece in the Making. This can be accessed from my NSUWorks page, which is as follows:

https://works.bepress.com/melissa-sasso/

A template will be issued and must be used to cover these listed topics.

Leading Collaborative Teams are important for you to effectively lead a team. You must create an environment to guarantee that your team works seamlessly together. Learn how to build a functional and successful team, not just a group of people. You could discuss the differences between a group and a team.

Leading Across Cultures is how you will lead your multicultural teams. You must learn the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics needed to assess your organization and your leadership and/or management styles to ensure you are leading a diverse team in the most effective ways imaginable.

Coaching Skills for Leaders is how you must build relationships among your people to succeed. Learn the skills needed to be an effective coach to move your organization forward.

Motivating People to Higher Performance is very important as you must help them learn how to use intrinsic motivational skills, than extrinsic wants and needs. Research Frederick Herzberg’s Motivational (Two-Factor) Theory on satisfiers and dissatisfiers. Your job as a leader is to find out why people are unmotivated or just a poor fit for the job and then motivate them when there are real obstacles standing in their way.

Chapter 7 of the book is also important as it refers to creating solutions. Many organizations fail at this task, but learning organizations are aware and do create solutions. On page 108 of the book, Gundling, Hogan, and Cvitkovich stated that “Influence across boundaries and third-way solutions represent essential aspects of” creating solutions. As a result of having this knowledge, in a one-paragraph conclusion, explain how the topics could assist you while creating solutions.

Did evaluating your peers’ paper change how you write? Provide examples.

If your instructor provided previous feedback on your last journal, briefly outline how are you improving based on it. (In Word, you may need to select “Review—Tracking—All Markup” to see feedback as “track changes”.)
Reflection on the peer review process.
a) What did you learn from evaluating your peers’ papers?
b) Did evaluating your peers’ paper change how you write? Provide examples.
c) Was receiving peer feedback on your own paper helpful? If so, provide examples.
d) Was there anything about this process that surprised you?
e) What did you enjoy / not enjoy about this process?
What will you take away from RE374? You may want to think about how/if this course challenged /changed your thinking around religion and sexuality, but other responses will be accepted too.
Overall Feedback
Your paper presents a fairly surface-level response to the lesson that can recognize and repeat examples from the lessons but not provide any higher-level critical engagement with them. You should be able to evaluate these examples using specific course theories/theorists. This deficiency is seen, particularly in your inability to articulate / apply anything specific about queer/feminist theory.
When I look at your progress in the course, the vagueness of your response appears to be connected from the lack of time spent on lessons. I suggest re-evaluating your approach to the class. Overall Feedback

What does this paper does well?
The paper does well with providing arguments that back up the thesis. They expand on the points they make, rather than just simply stating them!
What is at least one area where this paper needs improvement?
This paper could be improved by proofreading and making sure they are not repeating the same things multiple times! The organization of the paper can also be improved and the headings for each question are not needed.
Describe how this paper does or does not demonstrate effective use of course concepts and application of theorists.
This paper effectively uses course concept and relevant theorists that back up the argument well.
Describe how this paper does or does not demonstrate critical thought and shows sparks of originality
This paper demonstrates original thought as they include examples to further explain their point.
Describe how this paper’s organization is or is not effective and logical
The organization of the paper is logical, however, the conclusion could be stronger to wrap up the main points.
Describe how this paper does or does not systematically support its argument with many specific examples
This paper uses examples of how society in general regulates sex and sexuality which is good.

I need someone to expand on these topics and explain and give facts. I also provided the sources too.
This report aims to examine the arguments supporting and challenging the thesis statement, “Global warming is caused by human
activity,” and provide an objective analysis of the evidence available. I need three supporting and challenging reasons in their own
paragraphs explained in detail.
here are the sources.

the complex relationship between universities and student athletes

Length: 4 pages, double-spaced + Annotations

The structure for this assignment will be a brief narrative wherein you define the theme or thematic expansion on which you have chosen to focus and an annotated list of the 4 books and 2 journal articles that you believe would best illuminate this theme. In this narrative, you should anchor your topic to the broader history of higher education through references to things you have read previously (in this and other courses) as well as to “general” histories of higher education, and express how this counter narrative theme could contribute to a more complex (critical) understanding of the history and current state of higher education. This narrative should be roughly four pages in length (double spaced). Your annotations should be roughly one paragraph (~half page, double-spaced) per book selected. Please note: You are not required to completely read the books or articles that you identify, but you should read enough about them to know that they are an appropriate selection.

Anthropology – long answer

NO EXTERNAL/UNASSIGNED MATERIALS OR INFORMATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Be sure to respond to all parts of the question. You cite your sources if you use a direct quote. Otherwise, citing isn’t required since you are using only assigned materials. This is not a formal essay with an introduction, conclusion, etc. Your goal is to demonstrate that you have: 1. completed the readings; 2. listened to the lectures; and, 3. understood and synthesized the course material so far. Save in double-space so I can read your response more easily.

11. Describe the strategies Indigenous individuals and communities have taken and continue to take in responding to colonization. You should be able to identify at least two strategies. Provide examples from both Canada and the US. How effective have the various strategies been? Explain. Rely on both assigned books and the lectures, giving examples to support your points

Unit 3 Case Study Synopsis Assignment

In this folder presented you are given several website links to information on the autoimmune, neurogenerative disease Multiple Sclerosis. In this Unit, you will learn how our tissues and organs work together to form organ systems and learn details of how the nervous, endocrine, skeletal and muscular systems function (and their structure). Linked to this assignment are pages to a Case Study on MS for you to read. Using this information and the information from the introductory material folder, write an essay discussing this disease and its effects on a person. You should include information on tissues (especially nervous) and each of the systems relevant to this unit. An autoimmune disease is one where our immune system attacks our own tissues as though they were foreign and destroys them. We will discuss the workings of the immune system in Unit 4 and so you do not need to include that discussion for this assignment. Things that you might discuss can include how the disease affects the nervous system and how that in turn affects the ability to move. You might consider the long-term progression of the disease and symptoms that may come and go. There are many things that you could consider but keep your discussion factual and relevant to the unit. If you use information from resources (including those presented here) you should cite them in APA format. An essay that is 500-1000 words can be adequate for this assignment but it needs to be on point.Case Study on MS: (linked from Weber State University Dumke College of Health Sciences)
