Describe transactional leadership and transformational leadership in your own words.

Each answer needs to be 150-200 words.

1. Review Figure 12-1 (page 379 of the text) titled, “Taskwork Processes.” What are task work processes, and what are some examples of team activities that far into this process. Finally, discuss if it is possible to focus on only one factor or if each factor affects the others, and in turn affects the final outcome of process gain or process loss.

2. Describe transactional leadership and transformational leadership in your own words. What is the difference between these two styles of leadership? Where do you fall on this continuum? Using a scholarly (or practitioner) research article find ways that transformational leadership is helping leaders grow and be more successful. Discuss any trait correlations that are found to be useful in becoming a transformational leader.

Can you be certain that you are not dreaming at any particular time after reading the Meditations and considering the concepts discussed?

Descartes put every one of his beliefs to proof in the First Meditation of his Meditations on First Philosophy. He raises an epistemological issue that later philosophers came to refer to as “the problem of dreaming,” which is the inability to consistently differentiate between waking life and dreams on a qualitative level. It is not completely obvious whether Descartes’ argument has been successful, even though by the Sixth Meditation, he is convinced that he is actually awake when he believes himself to be awake (after all, God would never systematically deceive him). How does Descartes support his final opinion on dreams? Is his case persuasive? Can you be certain that you are not dreaming at any particular time after reading the Meditations and considering the concepts discussed? Can you demonstrate that you are not hallucinating right now? Can you provide evidence that the universe you perceive as real is, in fact, real? Is it possible to present such a case without first trying to establish God’s existence?

Instructions:
Please do not use any sources except the ones would provide since using sources from outside websites would be marked as a 0 and considered plagiarism. You might use the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, but it would be better to use only the ones I would provide. Also, I wrote about the topic, but I didn’t answer the question; I just gave more information about the reading. The sources that I used when writing was from the pdf called “Descartes doubt and certainty,”

Please add more based on what I wrote and answer the questions. Also, please add a point where it can be argued that ” We can use our senses to differentiate between our waking and dreaming experiences, even while it is true that our five senses can be deceptive and that we can never be completely positive that we are not dreaming. ”

You must support all of your claims with quotes, in-text citations, and/or philosophical arguments. You must make arguments to support your views. You must support all of your claims with quotes, in-text citations, and/or philosophical arguments.

Please save two drafts of the essay in various stages of completion.

What does the destruction of statues of Columbus tells us about some of the realities and myths of conquest and colonization in Latin America?

Write in opinion piece style

What does the destruction of statues of Columbus tells us about some of the realities and myths of conquest and colonization in Latin America? What would a historically grounded and nuanced public site (monument, artwork, statue, etc.) of these processes’ contradictions, reversals, violence(s), and local appropriations could look like? Think imaginatively and boldly about possibilities for creating a public work and a site of collective memory that would capture, if not all, at least some of the discussions we have had in terms of the unfinished character of these processes, the role of religion and resistance, the centrality and resilience of native knowledge(s) of the sacred, health,
political power, among other factors.

Start by describing a current example or situation corresponding to the present-day context; in this case: Latin America’s reckoning with its colonial past through the decapitation or removal of monuments of Columbus
• Discuss how this example relates to some of the realities and misconceptions of the conquest and the colonization that followed
• Offer then an example of a public site, monument, artwork or statue that would reflect a more nuanced understanding of the contradictions of conquest and colonization
• Go back to the first example you mentioned or to your discussion of the contemporary context and conclude
• Key: come up with a catchy title for your piece after you have finished it. The title usually summarizes the piece’s argument but it is also suggestive and provocative
