Discuss the body system you selected using medical terminology you learned during your research.
Highlight and detail an illness or disease that impacts this system. For example, the respiratory system can be affected by cigarette smoking, which may result in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Explain how deepening your understanding of body systems and the conditions that affect them will benefit you in your chosen career path in health care.

Post a minimum of two replies to your classmates or instructor. Be constructive and professional. Range from 150 to 300 words. Include specific examples and/or substantiating evidence. Stay on topic and address the course objectives. Demonstrate proper spelling and grammar.

1. The bibliography should include 3-4 annotations, and the sources should not be dictionaries or Wikipedia (see the research video about using Wikipedia responsibly but not relying upon it). Ideally the sources will be drawn from the library databases or Google Scholar and will be from peer-reviewed articles, but I will allow other sources (YouTube clips, newspaper articles, etc.)
