Assignment Question
Go to the module on Emotions. Find the Emotions handout. This shows the many emotions that are within each broad category of emotions. Find the Emotion Activity video (it’s near the bottom of the page). Watch the video — it’s from a few semesters ago but it still works. After ‘participating’ in the activity, write a 1 page reflection answering the questions in the activity assignment.
Title Page (APA format) Introductory paragraph with a clearly written thesis statement Body: 4 Sections Background section introducing the history and current views on the concept/matter A section on the fallacies, myths, emotions, or biases, evident when this concept/matter is discussed Provide a real-life case-study (or one used with vSim) wherein the concept/matter and its surrounding premises impacted patient care or outcomes A section on evidence-based approaches to the concept/matter
4. Conclusion Summarize the key findings and take-away Connect closing back to introductory paragraph
5. Reference page (APA format, minimum 4 references) – APA 7th edition writing style: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/ -The body of your paper should be 6 – 8 pages of content in addition to a title page and a references page.
– Select a minimum of 4 resources, two of which may come from reputable new articles as long as they are relevant and credible….example: JAMA, CDC, NIH… not Wikipedia.
The remaining sources must be peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles. -I expect all elements of the assignment guidelines to be thoroughly researched and discussed in your paper.
