What is an unmet need in your community?

What is an unmet need in your community? What service could you develop to meet the need?
Scenario: You and a group of people have decided to create a new social service agency in your community to meet the unmet need you identified above. You have been selected to be one of the leaders in the social service agency.
The first part of the final project is to make the following decisions and accomplish the following tasks. You can list your responses in bullet form or sentences. Please create the symbol you would like to use with color. Be creative! (worth 30 points-should be at least one page, double space with 12 pt font)
Define the purpose of the agency
Choose a nickname of the agency
Choose a symbol for the agency
Choose a mission for your agency
Define the client populations will be served
List various staff positions within the agency
Allocate salaries for the various staff positions in the agency you created (but remember, you only have $80,000.00 to spend on all salaries per year)
The second part of the assignment is to create a summary that organizes your ideas and creating the new agency.
Writing prompts:
Introduction paragraph: Include the size of your town and what needs are currently being met. What agency is meeting those needs? Is that agency easily accessible? Why or why not?
Why did you choose this specific need to address? Was it easy to come up with the symbol and mission for your agency? Why or why not? Were you able to pay the entire staff and stay within the $80,000.00 budget? Why or why not?
Conclusion paragraph: What was the most challenging part of creating the social agency? How might you find support to assist you in that process? (worth 70 points- should be at least two pages -double space with 12 pt font)
The paper must be well prepared and written. A poorly organized document with typing, grammar, and spelling errors will distract from the term paper’s presentation and final award points.

Using the iceberg analogy, what are the hidden and the displayed pieces of your organization’s culture from an OD perspective?

What motivated you to fulfill the need, and how did you fulfill that need?

Often we learn new concepts by applying them to our personal life. This week we examined needs, motivation, and emotions and related them to human behavior. For this activity, you will apply needs, motivation, and emotions to your own life. During this introspective phase of the week, work towards the value of appreciating the various psychological dimensions as related to your own experiences.
Write a one-page journal on your personal understanding and application of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed:
In one sentence, explain Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in your own words.
Describe a time when you had a need. What was the need and what emotions did you feel during that time?
What motivated you to fulfill the need, and how did you fulfill that need?

Explain why physicians should allow older adults to refuse treatments even if the refusal result in their death?

Your final position paper should transform what you submitted in your outline to a full, robust, well-researched paper. As you have done previously, you will start by stating the topic of your paper. From there, you will use your body paragraphs to highlight three disciplinary aspects and how they relate to your paper. Remember, you may choose from legal, medical, social, political, cultural, or psychological. Each aspect should be supported with at least two unique and reputable references, for a total of at least six references. Last, but not least your conclusion should communicate your stance on the topic, given the references and research that you provide in your body paragraphs. This paper must be four, double-spaced pages (not including your reference list), typed in Times New Roman 12-pt font. APA (7th Edition) formatting is required so you must include in-text citations and a reference list

Your introduction should be one sentence that states your topic.
The three body paragraphs should clearly show which three aspects you will be discussing from the following list legal, medical, social, political, cultural, or psychological.

Your conclusion should tell me your position on the topic based on the references you provide in your body paragraphs. If you change your mind between this outline and the final paper that’s OK so long as the references you provide support your position. I just want to see where you currently stand.

Discuss about the replication crisis in psychology and examine two approaches to science.

Discuss about the replication crisis in psychology and examine two approaches to science.
1- To begin listen Shankar Vedantam: Scientific findings often fail to be replicated

3- Finally compare and contrast these two papers. . First, Giner-Sorolla’s paper
describes one way to improve psychological science. Grey and Wegner describe how to make science interesting.
(BOTH ARE ATTATCHED BELOW)

In this post, first compare and contrast the main claim of both papers. Then, describe your views on these competing goals of science.
